tbaba1234:bro...the problem is alloy agu and rohr not ready to test these young lads who are very hungry for an opportunity to explode.... alampasu, Daniel and the guy who played for the Bosnian side last season....by now should have been tested and tried... I believe either of them can lay claim to the GK shirt if given the opportunity.... |

Humility017:What are u talking about? I said what TO expect, not what THEY expect. Most of these guys have played Cameroon in some of the biggest battles. This is why Rohr should talk to them and find out what makes the Cameroonians tick, find out about prior wins and loses and the reasons why. We need all hands on deck, right now these are the 2 biggest matches in our history, we need these wins like a fat kid needs cake. Overlooking them is simply dividing the house. |

Humility017:I don't argue against anyone demonizing any of these Nigerian agencies, caz their greed is on a whole new level. Their inability to be beyond the present is what makes most of the European teams take them less seriously. If these guys decide to act professionally, I believe they'd earn maximum respect and money would come in abundance for them. As it is now, they are causing serious harm to the development of our stars. |

BascoVanVeli:I kinda agree with you, the teams should relax the rules as regards players going to Europe for trials during the season. At least they can get something from the sign-on/sale-on fees if a deal materializes as a result. To me the agents are being the ones irresponsible here. Encouraging players to go against club's management decisions not to release players for trials. What if things don't work out? Like the "Stephen Odey" saga? Would the club be as forgiving as MFM FC? |

BascoVanVeli:Make suggestions, not tell the coach. It is up to the coach to accept or turn it down. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 5:59am On Jul 15, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli:It is up to the coach to accept to bounce off a few ideas of the Technical committee. If he does not want to bounce off, then the coach is well within his right. That is what we are against, the NFF Technical Committee vetting his tactics or ideas. Humility017: and you support these NFF technical committee interference? BascoVanVeli: There is nothing wrong with bouncing a few ideas off of some of our best ever players. There is something wrong if the coach is to bounce off their ideas against his wishes. |

TheGoodJoe:Why should a group of ex internationals who had no coaching badges or have taken up coaching courses vet the list and tactics of a coach What do They know about tactics or players potential? Rohr have done so much within the short space of time..him.and yusuf have been able to lure the likes of ebuehi, bazee, aina, etc to play for Nigeria while the so ex internationals wanna sit somewhere vet coaches lists after travelling far to go visit, cuddle, assure these players....if they were really concerned let them start asking the nff to set up an under 20 and under 16 team from the last npfl promise under 15 tournament...early preparation for the next cadet nations and world cup won't be a bad path...they can get busy wit that. They can proffer advise and recommendations but the coach should never be compelled to adopt them... None are as experienced as rohr when it comes to africa football. ...good they've all played football but few know what coaching and man management entails.... They should go relax somewhere and let the coach work |

junnyjake:Let me tell you something bro.... Many of these players are not owned by these clubs but academics There is always the issue of a 3rd party ownership as regards players rights in Nigeria. .. |

junnyjake:Moreso even many of the young lads going into football now are doing so because of the money it fetch and when these money is not forthcoming they resist to which ever move to seek greener pastures elsewhere not minding their career at risk all because they wanna make cool.cash |

tbaba1234:Thats a good one... I think he is the team currant 3rd choice goal keeper after his recent promotion from the feeders traam....I think the la liga team will benefit more from Nigeria if they go for our academy players....just like the seria A, Norwegian, Belgian, clubs....young and hungry talents are better found there..... I still maintain that the npfl should be restructured....an under 18 tournament should be held and 70% of every team players should not be older than 20 at least 17-20 years |

Dominic lorfa junior just got signed by Ipswich town....a second tier club(league 1) on loan. no wonder his father now want him play for Nigeria ...it is becoming glaring that his son will never play for England..... I wish the young lad the best....he should raise his game and get to play in the EPL only then will he he called to SE....for now he is simply not good enough.... |

All our past heroes deserve respect. However the player in question is Enyeama. I don't get your logic that says don't apologize to Enyeama if you won't apologize to past players who we disrespected in the past. Very faulty reasoning. zicky: |

The U-turn by Iorfa, now that his England career is essentially over is unfortunately the theme amongst many young Nigerian players. They hold out for England till there is no chance, then they start talking of playing for Nigeria. Ameobi, Onuoha, Agbonlahor etc As an ex international, Dominic Iorfa should have been easy but the Dad did not want him playing for Nigeria. Now he is league 1 and they are announcing interest. To help revive his career? |

Humility017:The boy is 22 and has played almost 100 career games. At 6'4 he is a giant at full back. Let's stop catching feelings, we all know we won't call up a league one player but he is still one of us. The fact is only God can determine how much playing for Nigeria means to a player. |

BascoVanVeli:Is football the only man means of livelihood? Moreover what I proffered should be a gradual progression You're always defending mediocrity all in the guise of trying to be humane....forgetting folks meritocracy will feed and help attain giant strides....I said these because you once defend these npfl players en mass move to league's of vietnam, Malaysia where many sign slave contracts..... |

BascoVanVeli:I never said he he is not one of us ... But you see....Dominic lorfa senior was never sincere....deep down he wanted his son play for England....Reason why He keep saying when he clock 23 he will make a decision i on his international future.... By then to him....if His son never gets 3 lion's call up he can then switch to Nigeria |

tbaba1234:Don't mind him....young okocha was wise enough to catch on this to establish his nephew in the super eagles team.... I tell you...playing for the super eagles has earn iwobi so much respect in England....where folks like loftus cheek, chaloba and co....are still hoping play someday for England....iwobi is already an international....in a renowned football nation |

Humility017:So we should just sack people on the ground that they are old? These guys have a right to earn a living that's a simple human right that u want to violate all in the name of promoting non mediocrity I guess. I will never in my life stand in the way of a grown man trying to get paid. That said the leagues were Vietnam and Morocco. Christian Obiozor was one of them but now we know he didn't go to Morocco because he is at Orlando Pirates after sitting out more than a year. How mediocre is that? |
