Humility017:All i have ever heard him say was that his son will play for us when he clocks 23. I never once heard about him saying it was a might. Remember he was employed by an NPFL club. I guess you always go in the negative direction because IMO the real question is why every single championship club would pass on a kid that talented? My take is that this is the English FA at work. |

BascoVanVeli:You still didn't read my comment... I said the progression should be gradual.... why then go awol just to whisk to RSA for trials i presume......? His club was looking for him....meaning He left witout the knowledge of the management o his club.... |

BascoVanVeli:Only you read and heard him...say His son will play for Nigeria when he clock 23....because what I read him say...was His son gonna make a decision on his international allegiance when he is 23 |

Humility017:Rohr has always been in charge of his list. U can't use the past to judge the future. Maybe u are just vexing just in case they did something, if so right on. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 8:05pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
Lazyerudite:Not ripe. He should first cut it out as a senior professional. One pre-season appearance is definitely not enough |

Humility017:Or is he being suggested to keep goal against Cameroon? You know my stance on these young players has not changed. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BascoVanVeli(m): 8:12pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
Humility017:I didn't read it, I watched him say it on Naija Made he was with Lobi if I am not mistaken. His said he would play at age 23 there was no thinking about anything. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Humility017(m): 8:16pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
Icon4s:LOL...... We are just talking of the future. ....we need nurture a young goal keeper that will grow be the best he can be..... Remember enyeama wasn't that good when he started but he gradually grew to the man he is now.... He had his debut while still a teenager and started manning SE post when he was less 25 So we can start up wit same....dele being sought after to replace Carl is already 33 |

Lazyerudite:Yes oo, he scored the winner for his side, Anderlecht on his debut for the club.. |

Icon4s:Certainly, for the future.. If he establishes himself in the next few years, might not be so long term. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Humility017(m): 8:18pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
BascoVanVeli:Ok ....I believe you but for now ...the young lad is not SE material yet....because extending call up to him...is grossly injustice because he has done nothing to merit it... |

Humility017:Enyeama was already an established senior professional with Enyimba before his invitation to the Super Eagles. He had won league titles and participated in the CAF champions league, Ejide was with Etoile Du Sahel also with CAF champions league experience while Ayenugba deputised for Enyeama at Enyimba. The trio though in their early 20s then but had plenty of experience on the African soil. I am not ruling out Uzoho. But I also do not see him as a front burner yet as one to solve our GK problem. He should just continue working hard and gathering the experience. Time will tell. |

tbaba1234:Long term is relative. It may be 2 years or more or even 1year's time. The short term now is between now and June 2018. Any thing after that is for the long term. My opinion. What is more critical now is goal keepers for the rest of our 2018 WC and 2019 AFCON qualifiers as well as the 2018 WC if we qualify. |

I would like to drop my opinion on this whole Rohr and the tech committee issue. Believe me when I say there is nothing new or wrong with what the committee are doing. They are the ones that employ Rohr, therefore should be able to supervise and look over what he does; just as any employer in the workplace does with it's employee. It happens in every other set up both National and Club teams. The only problem is that it is too publicised by the Nigerian media when it comes to the NFF, and is potrayed in a negative way O pari, as you guys would say! |

Joebie:Enyeama had issue with his coach and not the Nff and decided not to play for Nigeria again as if the SE belong to Oliseh, and you say we should apologize to him and my question is apologize for what? Rohr ou current coach have approach him, shoromu did same, we go fry sweet for him abi until the whole Nigeria knee to beg him. Arrant nonsense ![]() |

Ighalo just completed a brace with a 90th minute winner. That's 4 in 3 games. |

jimmyiovine:Mourinho writes the list and the execs gets the players he wants. It is not the other way around. You can no supervise someone who knows more than you. Someone who has more knowledge and understanding makes the Call not the other way around. If a big man brings out money to build a house, he can not tell the architect the technicalities of getting the building done. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:11pm On Jul 16, 2017 |
jimmyiovine:No one is saying the committee can not contribute but their knowledge is limited. The final call falls on the coach, not the committee. So the committee can call the coach to brief and keep them updated. They can also make suggestions but the coach makes the final call of the Direction of the team. He has the deepest technical knowledge because he is the one with the plan for the team. |

zicky:The problem started with the NFF. Oliseh was just the hitman who took Enyeama out on the orders of the NFF. |
