Do you want to have a conversation or you just want to chestbeat like the others? This is the major reason I really do not engage many of the igbos in this forum. Let us have a decent conversation and lets raise decent topic rather than post pictures which has not helped the manufacturers but exposing these guys to tribalistic people who might start boycotting their products because they are igbos. You should try as much as possible to hide the identity of these people because we are majorly unloved and we need to still operate unnoticed until we create an economic haven for them to thrive without hate.

I disagree strongly with you brother. There is nothing like bad publicity, some people dont know this products are locally made. Like the cornflakes and crackers biscuits i haven't seen em before.

@OP if you have more paste them, if you studied marketing you will know the power of advertising.

There are some products here that even the biggest tribal bigot must purchase, a yoruba or hausa junkie that needs to drink his codeine to get high will not avoid that cough medicine wey i see there because na yamuri do am.

People do not buy these because it is made in Nigeria, people buy things because they feel comfortable using them. How many of these guys have gotten a car from innoson while they still patronize cars with lesser quality from what innoson produces. These guys go look for negatives in our brands and make it larger than life.

It is better they see these products, test them and testify themselves without knowing who produces it. The moment they find out its from an igbo man, then there is a problem especially when there is a close substitute. I have seen it happen several times. We have our market coverage and we will continue to cover many grounds till we get what we want.

This is exactly my position. If we keep exposing them, at this time of political turmoil, one stroke of pen from one of these tribal Lords, masquerading as our leaders, will send these manufacturers packing.

The objective of advert should be to generate more sales.... this article does not support such theory. We all know that the reason behind this thread is to chest-beat. There are proper channels of adverts that can be utilized by the owners of these products.

The other topic they created to tackle the igbos was a total waste of time. Some of our people are the cause of these problems, maybe due to over excitement, the feel the need to show off and blow off steam.

If you want to showcase the greatness of the igbo race, then use the appropriate medium devoid of tribal bigots who will use these things as opportunity to destroy the budding businesses of these hardworking igbo men.
