those groundnut pyramid are now been replaced with mosques and cocoa depot house are now been replaced with churches in the west!

the northern military rulers really messed things up! military did a lot of damages to Nigeria and they are still ruling till date, from ABACHA, IBB, to OBJ , even when Jonah was in power, they formed Boko Haram against the government with military skills, and now Buhari pulled his uniform to further damage things in the name of democracy and change! muzzling everyone out , neglecting the law.

Islandmoon said it!

come and arrest me, I'm on my way to church!

Our greatest strength lies in our diversity.
Too bad we have only had corrupt and selfish leaders since independence.

Abeg historians, has any country ever survived without any figurehead leaders but in the community, more like the spartan and Roman civilisation of old where power lies in the voice of the people
Diversity is one of our major problems.

Only fools would say the Nigerian project is a failed one...She reached greatness in her prime and our gullible and greedy (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and other tribes) folks fücked her real bad. It's such a shame....now they want to use the blood of the younger generation to cleanse the land. I still don't know how some people don't see there's no gain in violence for those involved but mass (masses) destruction...

That thing on that tripod does not look like a camera to me. If you ask me,it looks like some sort of surveying equipment-a theodolite or something? Dunno.

We were so orderly.

We are ,what happen to the new set of danfo driver , they are always in a hurry creating multiple lanes from a two lane road .following 'one way ' .

This was when sanity is at the peak in the country . Now we have half of the driver on our roads to be extremely mad Behind the wheels .th speed as if they are on a time machine and going to the future .

Fascinating photographs of 1930s Nigeria taken by a high-ranking education inspector in the decades before its independence from Britain have been unearthed after more than 65 years.

The images were captured by Edward Harland Duckworth, who served as inspector of Education in Nigeria from 1930 to 1944, and collated into a photo album by his friend Henry Svory, who was a head of department at Ibadan University at that time.

They provide an insight into the lives of the native population in the West African country in the decades preceding its independence from Britain in 1960.

Edward Harland Duckworth was inspector of education from 1930-1953 and not 1944.
