rien05:Don't leave your job for masters darling. That was how I abandoned my business for masters. Bae I'm still unemployed. Yet with masters. I'd suggest you save a lot and have a self sustainable business that you can fall back on. Come to think of it. Who's gonna be your sponsor since everyone is forming OYO? THINK TWICE. Gracias! |

rien05:1) NO dont leave ur job because 2m fees while working is cheaper than 200k fees when jobless. U'll understand and believe me later. 2)There are alternative programs even foreign schools both online and weekends not only unilag. 3) You can join those Bold ladies we see who went into UBER, Keke, Bus or Taxi driving TEMPORARILY to fund themselves through school 4) If u must then wait a few months or a year, learn/improve a language or skill within this period, SAVE A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE PROGRAM, then start ur own biz or move into another job that will give little freedom and provide backup during the program i.e (if u r good in physics, chemistry, maths, french u can get a good pay in some big private sec sch or tutorial centre) (blue collar skills set up in a big way like cake making, shawarma, fast food, event planning, nail fixing, hair dressing, fashion design e.t.c wil put you in charge of ur time wyl u study) WHATEVER YOU MAY THINK OF BUT THE ULTIMATE POINT IS "NEVER DROP JOB/SKILL/CAREER FOR CERTIFICATE"!!! |

rien05:Quitting 150k job even for a masters in UK on scholarship is a bad choice nt to talk of ordinary Unilag. Jst yesterday a lawyer came back with a UK masters and could only manage to get a 35k /month job. Your job is ur life, it's only second to God pls dnt quit it except for a better job. Save n pay more for ur masters provided u keep ur job while in the programme |

rien05:Don't leave your job, it better to be earning while doing it part time than jobless while doing it full time nd besides it just for a while, nd after it u can get a good raise at your current company |

Many youths are really out of sync with the realities of today! Goddamnit! With that money you should be either saving for a professional certification or developing a business idea or do u want to keep battling VI traffic for the next 20 years. When I got my current job my mum I should make sure that in two years, I should have had something serious on ground to fetch me enough income to leave the job. Most people just think dressing classy and joining the traffic queue every morning and Evening is trendy! Not anymore. The richest people are either business or contractors.... people who pay themselves. ![]() |

rien05:If you can save half of your salary for one year, this will give you about 750K which you can use to start a business and gradually start to become an entrepreneur. If you do MBA you will still be at the mercy of other entrepreneurs for job. Try to break free from the job mentality and strive to be your own boss. |

Okay Girl listen up.... We are age mates, work in the procurement field, want an advancement in our Supply Chain/Procurement careers and with a salary difference of 70k your 'opportunity' with Life is a steal (ask commenters telling you to quit and link them up instead!..lol) MY 2 cents; A Nigerian Msc isnt worth the stress See a Supply Chain Certification+Bsc= An Msc/MBA You currently have earning power that cannot be gotten easily, relish your position and concentrate on Professional Qualifications. As you know, our field (Supply Chain/Procurement) honours specialized knowldege over 'generic' knowledge. Realize you are blessed (a lot of ppl out der r lookin for my position not to talk of yours) and see Quitting your job as a form of 'Village Bluetooth TELEPHONY'.....MUAH! |

rien05:It will be tough, but you should try the part time once and for all. I also found reasons to procastinate like you are about to do and its not worth it. Eventually your current no masters degree position will be obselate. BSc is the new secondary school cert. Join me in the journey. |

You can do your Masters without really quitting your Job. Well it is essentially Seminar Presentation based and may not require you relocating to the school full time. Just find away around your job to do it. |
