In the event that there isn't as I suspect, at such a forum, all taxpayers could make specific realistic and beneficial demands to the government. These demands however, would have to be aligned to the tenets of the law guiding the use of tax by government.

A general partial or total boycott of payment of tax could be agreed on by all involved in the event that the government refuses to use tax for the benefit of the generality of people.

The real problem is that the Nigerians who are truly patriotic are less than 5%
Most people agitating are after what they can get or just unhappy because people in their circle are not favoured or out of power

It is not difficult for Nigerian youths to mobilise to confront the politicians
But do you see Nigerian youths supporting such a movement initiated by people from other tribes when their people are in power?

This is not a matter the FG can really fight legally but through morally through public outcry
I have sympathy for APC because for 16 years PDP fleeced us and I don't see as an alternative in 2019

If some sincere people come up with a credible alternative in 2019, Allah preserving our lives, I would not don't have to vote for APC

Nigerian governors are the worst enemies that nigerians have. They have looted their states treasury dry and made juicy pension packages for themselves when they leave office. Nigeria would have been like dubai or europe if no governor had stolen the monies they get every month. There is a problem. A viable solution is required. Ultimately, tax boycott is not feasible.

When you say the youths should confront politicians, what medium/mode of confrontation do you suggest?

I don't see youths supporting the said movement. Do you think its possible that this is so because the movement doesn't exist or it's largely unknown? Personally, I don't know of this movement myself.

My point is this: instead of elaborating on the problems, we should generate more solutions whether feasible or not. We'll vet them till we develop and execute the best solutions.

Yes, you should be SAFE for writing an ordinary petition and getting many other people to sign it.
You can always find out the office and contact details of your senator and representative to drop your petition with the appropriate AUTHORITIES.
