BascoVanVeli:Really happy he's found his scoring streak once more. I was really sad when the change in management resulted in his poor form back at Watford. |

zicky:When a person is employed by a corporate entity that person acts on behalf of that body and not in his personal capacity. When Oliseh was misbehaving where was the oversight function of the NFF to curb his excesses. Silence by stakeholders is complicity and consent. This goalkeeper lost his mother and should have been given compassion, understanding and sympathy sympathy rather he got the opposite after all his sacrifices for the SE. All these officials who were there and are still part of the NFF including Amaju owe him an unreserved apology. Then while eating humble pie request him very nicely to once more play for the SE. Behind the silence is the quest to promote mediocrity and push forward a players with a TPI on his head that there associate agents can market and make a tidy sum on. This should be the very least the NFF should do. I have had to pay compensation and make unreserved apologies for a previous Director who compromised the company. Irrespective iwf the fact that I was not in office at the time. I inherited that corporate problem when I took on the corporate responsibility and position. In this regard it would not be out of place for Rohr to make an apology on behalf of the NFF. |

Kanu offers to help convince 'World Class' Enyeama to return immediately Colin Udoh, KweséESPN ESPN.com | 7:51 PM FJT Former Nigeria captain Nwankwo Kanu says Vincent Enyeama is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has offered his services to help persuade the goalkeeper to return 'immediately' to the Super Eagles. Nigeria find themselves in a bit of a goalkeeping pickle after first choice keeper Carl Ikeme was diagnosed with acute leukaemia last week. Daniel Akpeyi, who has previously deputized for Ikeme, now finds himself out of favour following an underwhelming performance in last month's 2019 Nations Cup defeat to South Africa. Home-based goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa has not been trusted to man the posts in any fixture beyond friendly games, and youngster Dele Alampasu lacks the big game experience required as Nigeria contemplate their limited choices for next month's decisive 2018 World Cup double-header against Cameroon. Kanu says Enyeama is desperately needed to resolve the situation: "As it is now we need Vincent badly. In my opinion, Enyeama should come back immediately," the two-time African Player of the Year told KweséESPN. "Whoever is close enough to reach him should tell him to start coming back. "Enyeama is very very good. He is one of the best players in Africa, and one of the best in the world. Let the federation look into it and do everything they can to bring him back." Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has had conversations with the goalkeeper in a bid to convince him to return to international football, which he quit after a row with former coach Sunday Oliseh. But the Lille goalkeeper is still holding out, as he weighs his options and Kanu has offered to help make the case. "If Enyeama says he doesn't want to come, people like us can talk to him, the federation too can talk to him. If a lot of people talk to him, I'm sure that definitely he will change his mind." With the likes of Dele Aiyenugba also out in the cold, Kanu says the door should be thrown open for competition. "And not just Enyeama, let us look at some of the other active goalkeepers too. If we have like four goalkeepers there training, there will be competition and the coach can have more options to make his decision." Kanu, who was diagnosed with a heart disease early on which almost truncated his career, said he empathizes with Ikeme. "We are praying for him and we are all behind him. God is with him and he will come out strong. Its not a good thing to hear of something like that happening to a player. "As somebody who has been in a similar situation I can understand what he is going through. We are all there for him as a country and we have to pray for him." |

I read with amusement the various versions of Enyeama story. The reason many of us seem to be apologetic about this is because we kinda feel Enyeama deserves better. Yes enyeama was in mourning. Has anyone bothered to ask what he was doing in camp when the alleged altercation happened? I watched Oliseh's interview on youtube and the way i see it, it was a case of insubordination. We can sugar coat it anyway we like. Call oliseh names till kingdom come. But the truth is bitter. I watced enyeama's version of the story and from wat he said, he didnt like competion. He didnt even think there could be a threat in Ikeme until events started unfolding. He said he has his club career to protect and that he cannot be treated the way he was treated. And that was when I knew what the fuss was all about. Now Ikeme is ill and everyone suddenly remembers there is an Enyeama somewhere. Lets also understand that Oliseh is not the first coach that Enyeama has had bust ups with. It was even reported that he sabotaged Siasia during his stint as the super eagles coach by telling some players not to report to camp. I wanna ask a sincere question to all that how many of us will love to be ridiculed by subordinates or have one of your subordinates flout a direct order. Let us not forget that there are at least 170 million people in Nigeria. So to even be called to the national team is a priviledge. Its as good as looking for needles in haystack. Then we are supposed to be held to ransom? All this story about Oliseh man management skills and all that dont fly. And if NFF didnt back Oliseh then, he would av been using what we call borrowed power and this will make him all bark and no bite. No one is indispensable. That should be the message. For those who wanna take me on, please watch oliseh's interview and Enyeama's interview and judge for urself. Its all on youtube. Truth is there for all to see. To help answer the question i posted, I will not condone insubordination at any level. Especially if i am building something from ground up. You are either building with me or u are scattering. Plain and simple. Aint no middle ground. |

Furthermore, if NFF didnt back, Oliseh, where is the honor and respect for home based Coaches? We keep complaining that players dont respect our local coaches, tell me how that is supposed to happen. Oliseh didnt play for backwater leagues in his days, so i think he deserves some bit of respect. He has played for Ajax, Regianna, Jeventus, Dortmond, Cologne, VFL Bochum etc and this is no mean feat. In all, i am nt sayin he is a saint, but folks, lets give credit where it is due. Siasia, Keshi, Eguavoen, have played the game at the highest levels as well. They all deserve respect. |

I can see, we all talking about calling Enyema out of retirement ( a move I have nothing against ) But if we see that as an alternative to shop for other experienced keepers then we done for. Why? There are occurrences we have no control over. No one knew Carl was going to be diagnosed with cancer months before now, no one would have predicted Enyema's retirement the time it happened. Enyema's recall may not be the solution to our present predicament. Assuming he accepts to come back and him come break leg just when we we Don qualify for World Cup (God forbid o) And then the reality of having Agbim and Ezenwa fighting for a place in between the sticks stares at us right in the face... |

Mr Kennysville, you have spoken very well. Nff should back a player over the coach because Enyeama owns the SE, I just don't want to hear apologize, Rohr have talk to him as a father, he still refuse maybe he want the whole country to come beg him. |
