He sed 170% of last year,

So; 1.7 x 53 = 90

        1.7 x 60‎ = 102

Or the dreaded part;

I/3 of X = 19

X = 57.

We shld b 180 now

Argggghhh me I dunno again ooo. Am so anxious, am sure d HR people viewing wld b laughin right now. Going bak to my shell. ‎
You were almost there, adding my two cents, it's formula goes thus:
1.7 *(total no of ATRS for last year + total no of Advisory for last year) * 2/3. If advisory has taken 1/3 then we bear 2/3 of the increase.
Therefore, going by last year estimates you provided, we have : 1.7 *(53+60)*2/3= 128.067 ~ 128 persons will be taken this year. QED.

1/3 + 2/3 = 1. Since it is increase, we add not multiply.

If only the figure can just be like this

If those successful are already compiled, why don't they send the unsuccessful ones mails instead of keeping us all in suspense? cheesy grin grin

I can see why PwC is in charge of the Oscars. Some of the drama beginning to rub off on them smiley

Lol...so much drama here...

In a sane country/community, where there are vast employment opportunities, one company really cannot keep hundreds of employable youths at bay for months...

With the quality of process encountered while getting to the final stage, y'all would have been employed elsewhere by now...

Even if resumption was to be next year, they would really have worked hard enough to send mails of success and regret so as to keep the "best minds" they could get, before rivals take em up.

After all, For Quest means Business...

But then, this is Nigeria... Unemployment is high too..

Lemme comman be going sha...

I got an IV for aptitude and technical assessment this week from PWC. Any info on how to combat this successfully would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y'all.

It's a normal aptitude test plus technical questions in the field you are applying for.

I think we should be looking at August 1. The advisory guys got their success mail June 1 and resumed July 3rd or so. Rumours has it that Assurance guys are resuming September 4th. It won't be wrong to assume that Assurance success mail will follow the same pattern like that of the Advisory guys.

Success to all of us.

During my interview.....Madam Toyin told me that feedback would be July that they are still recruiting. ....that feedback would be when the whole recruitment is done .....So I think it might take a little while since they are still giving test to some role...

This is a reasonable timeframe.. August 1st

How come nobody among over 200+ of us was given the right date by the HR crew? Thank God I didn't ask them.

It'll have been more painful. The wait continues cry cry

I doubt what she meant is that feedbacks will drop after recruitment for other positions that isn't Graduate Trainee is over.

You know in the process of waiting, we may have over-thought so many things done and said in the interview that it becomes subject to dilution due to anxiety.

I think Graduate Trainee recruitment is independent of other positions.

And one teeny tiny detail we may have missed is that those who had privy information from inside said that GTs are to resume in September. And riding on permutations from other years, feedback arrives 1month to resumption.

Staying up till now means the information is very true. The most logical timeline is that feedbacks will come towards the end of July or first week of August to make the 1-month-before-resumption theory true. If these timelines aren't adhered to, then...

It's either the HR crew had a plan that was distorted thereby keeping us this long or knew about the delay beforehand and wanted to keep the suspense thick.

Even if you have someone inside, it's difficult to even get info on whether you're successful or not. It's like the HR crew swore oath of secrecy.

At the end these people shouldn't kill our dreams of working for them. It'll be darn painful that after months of speculation, anxiety, dreams and interview review that someone will be sent regret smiley

Thank God Winter has Come to keep somebody busy

With the plenty sauce and juice on display these days. No single sauce from PwC.

We have always received communication on Thursdays, even advisory peeps got congratulatory e-mails on Thursday (June 1st).

Can today be the thursday?
