The foolish op ended up supporting IPOB. Igbos re beginning to wise up. On the street, what we have are Igbo people not Anambra,Enugu,Imo,Abia,Ebonyi,Anioma. Using division will not work. Elections will hold but IPOB will make a statement with this forthcoming election. It is only here that police and the military treat people like animals. I have my voters card but I will not risk my life for any politician. Make them carry soldiers full ground now. |

jrusky:Jackie, when it is time for election, go and vote. Don't force others into your line of thought. Leave the "touts". go and cast your vote. At the end of the day, both IPOB and APGA will win. Any intelligent mind will deduce what I mean. |

fumiswtpusy:lols Ikpa its Philip Effiong... Philip Effiong like his wayward son, Philip Effiong Jnr was brainwashed into being Ojukwus errand boy. he served his master Judiciously, only that his master a coward, dressed like a woman and left him in the death of the night, when it mattered most, with enemy troops surrounding them. At that point in time, seeing his life about to be cut short,.. Sense fell on Philip Effiong... He saw How this IGBO guy, (who had sworn to fight And defend Biafra to the death) had abandoned him to die a martyr for a worthless cause.. and at that point of enlightenment. He decided to find ways of connecting with the Troops to tell them of the cowardice of one whom after killing 6million of his kinsmen for a worthless cause he swore to die for.. Ran away, dressed as a woman. After Handing over, the coward came home to vie for the presidential post, in a country he tried destroying... HOW ELSE DO YOU NOT SAY THAT THE BIAFRAN BROHAHA IS NOT ALL ABOUT PERSONAL EGO, AND GREED ? with ready supply of zombielike people to fight and did(Like those who followedkanu, languishing in prison while he takes pictures with the senators and Governors of the FRNigeria.) THAT IS THE LIVE AND TIMES OF PHILIP EFFIONG, he was from Ibiono in Akwa Ibom state.. DO YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU ABOUT ANY OTHER PERSON ? give me ur review of the story, I will be using it all those mentioning Philip Effiong to me |

OP you talk too f*****g much and sounded so shallow! nothing of such will happen, all will happen is that the APC led FG will manipulate the no vote ish to rig the election, that's all, i'm an Anambrarian and Obiano supporter just like you but you are just painting this imaginary picture to put fear on people to vote, may sense fall on you! nwaanambra1: |

I have read all the comments and my sincere assessment even as an Afonja is that, people in Anambra should come out to vote but rather all Igbos should boycott the Presidential and maybe the Senatorial election. Why because if people fail to come out, it will affect Obiano the people's choice and his party APGA which is a party founded by Ojukwu(the man behind the ideology in the first place). Non-igbos in the state will definitely vote APC and that will bring in an Igbo APC man as Governor against the people's wish, which I know many Igbos don't like APC. So know the right thing to do, I don't hate the Biafra struggle even as an Afonja because I believe this country is not working for anybody except the Politicians and their cronies. So go out and vote in State and Local government elections but boycott the presidential and Senatorial election. |

From what I think, elections will hold but with a very poor turn out, even poorer than that of 2015 elections The incumbecy will win anyhow anyhow. They might even inflate figures. Ipob will make a strong statement that day by boycotting the election. |

Alanzazani:That's the problem of some deluded minds of Igbo extraction which you happen to be an example. What does it benefit you to come online and talk negative about your tribe. That's if you are Igbo anyway. How many fulani have come out to say negative things about their kinsmen? How many Ijaw men wrote bad things about militants? What do you think kanu will benefit if we succeed? If being seen as the Igbo leader is his gain for his struggle then let it be. Mandela became president after his. Did Kanu carry gun? Did he take your allocation? What the heck. We are in the race to save our kids from this perpetual evil clamp down. While hausas are saying ruling is there birth right, questions are still being asked if we can have an Igbo president. It doesn't even end there, we lobby for what is been given freely to others. Have you ever paused to ask how long? If not for the zeal we have as a people, we would have been the poorest people on earth. You want the status quo to continue right? If kanu is not civil in his approach, why not start up your own struggle while we support you. Tufiakwa |

You see how far these Afonjas could go, State of emergency ko state of emergency ni. Igbos generally are ready to sacrifice anything for their freedom, so Afonjas should leave us alone |

if after all these warnings Anambra people still allow themselves to be manipulated by boycotting the election, then they deserve exactly what they will get. Atimes I wonder who bewitched the Igbos. They call the country a zoo, and still expect the country to treat them fairly and with regards to the constitution in event that they boycott the election. well, we're all watching. I know many people will change nairaland moniker while Anambra becomes the laughing stock of others. |

0b100100111:How would you feel if you knew that only you voted yourself into power and the whole world knows it too? Or let's say 1000 people out of millions voted for you? Would you have the confidence to discharge your duties with this knowledge? How about the fact that you will mocked as a governor that was voted in with the minority? Your name will now be minority governor. ![]() |

gmaribel:It's understandable that people must come out to vote. No one expects zero voter turnout, but the message would have been passed when it becomes obvious that the election was boycotted. This will make the authorities know that IPOB has great followership and should not be underestimated or that mean business. |

Well, based on the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - which Anambra state is still part of, discouraging or hindering people from exercising their franchise in an election is classified as treason and in some cases terrorism. please I am interested in this part. especially when you say that discouraging people from exercising their franchise is classified as treason and some cases terrorism. please which part of the section in the constitution said this? in terms of hindering people to exercise their franchise, I believe ipob never said they would hinder people but instead they said they will discourage. please put me to speed. Thanks |

legendte:My friend I have travelled wide and worked in many cities in Nigeria. I am a nationalist. I know there are many ibos out there that have so much at stake. We travel out of this country to make a living in other countries. A fool that asks you to leave your country and come back to your home state or boycott elections should be taken seriously. The idiot lacks tact and wisdom. So ibos should come back to the east to be watching the drama the lunatic keeps acting up and down. Yes the ibo man deserves a better deal in this country but believe you me a loose cannon like Kanu will bring more pain than help actualise the goals of the ibo race. We have said if his stupidity backfires on ibos scattered across Nigeria then we are bringing the war to him and his ipob gang. They will become endangered species mark my words. Your leader is a clown putting his dirty feet in your faces and freekled ass worshipping whatever he is worshipping claiming a Jew at the same time. Emma powerful also says he believes in Jesus. Believe you me series of meetings are going on how to tackle ipob. Once the members are branded terrorists like Boko Haram. Suffiecient evidence and events that will unfold will lead to this soon then ipob will bite the dust with the new civilian volunteer force that would be created to find and root them out |

allrightsir:You're almost as dumb as the OP. Can't you see he's trying to pull the divide and dismantle tactic? From the write up it's obvious that the OP is a mentally challenged non igbo cos enugu state was carved out of anambra state. Such phantom differences exists only in the OP's mind. He's an impostor do not take him serious. |
