The Marketing Manager still needs to sit with his team to see how to regain a good balance in the Nigerian market because competition is growing stiffer everyday with massive brands everywhere in the Nigerian market.

Lets see how the drama unfolds...

You're right bro... Currently using Moto G4 Play, the battery is 2800amh but I can tell you the battery last to the extent I do not miss using infinix note 3...there is something about the battery..I also got mine on Amazon this year...[quote author=Paentera post=587707

I use a higher end Moto G4 and battery life is super. I started using Moto G when the first one (first generation) was released by Google wayback (I bought mine from Amazon in January 2013) and shortly before it was sold to Lenovo. Its such a great phone to use.

I've been using the G4 (fourth generation) since November 2016 (got it from Amazon too) and its such a beauty to behold. Very lightweight, 16GB with expandable memory card (I use a 32GB card with mine), crisp pictures (13MP rear, 5MP front) and it does not lag at all when switching between apps. It handles very flawlessly. wink

The battery time when full can last for a whole day (I leave home and unplug it around 6.30am while I don't get back to plug it until 7pm) with chatting & calls at an average however it gets drained faster when I use it as a hotspot. cool

It has never hung since I've bought it and its way more than a decent phone that draws oohs & aahs when friends and family find out its actually a Motorola and not any other high end brand they assumed it would be. grin

The only draw back - I cannot select ringtones outside that loaded on the phone. angry angry

Welcome Motorolla

But can you compete with Tecno ?

#TecnoGang

UPDATE , some people are asking why i would compare Motorola with Tecno

You people do not think at all , Tecno might have started as a Chinko brand , but these days Tecno's quality is a few steps away from Nokia Torchlight (O jaboh ko foh) And since Motorola left the Nigerian scene , people are already in love with Tecno , more than 70% of Nigerians use Tecno mobiles , my point therefore is that will Motorola be able to convince Nigeria to purchase their products ?
Tecno is a Nigerian brand, owned and registered by a Nigerian..

Start by selling tecno in your home country of China first then we will believe the quality is improving.

But no we both know the Chinese government will never allow sales of such low quality devices there

Only in a few countries like nigerians can you set up shop and sell this garbage openly

Now as a team nokia member I have to say I respect Motorola / Lenovo

Now that's a competitor I can respect not tecno or infinix who can't even sell in China where they are going

By the way what's the screen size of the G4 ?

I have been using the original moto G since 2014, I was going to buy the moto G5 to replace it, but then Nokia had already announced their range of phones. Besides my second phone is a Lenovo

I can still remember my driod razr & razar M, they are such a wonderful phone.

back then we use to have super-amoled screen, snap Dragon processor, wonderful camera and I really love the Kevlar casing design

but now that it is own by Lenovo I can't really say about the built quality.

I can see some people comparing it with tecno...all of you saying that your brain is not functioning.

I still have the razr M screen.

Motorola relaunched in 2013 when it was acquired by Google and later sold to Lenovo, they make excellent phones, those of you still mentioning there old devices must be living under the rock.. Try one of the Moto G series and you will be singing a new song..

5.00 inch, funniest part it is people would be like why did you drop infinix note 3 to get this Motorola but when I list the specifications ...they be like wow...the front camera is 5mp but the camera is very sharp compared to some Samsung phones not to talk of infinix ....the battery is wow..

We have exactly the same story from top to bottom except for the last paragraph. Convert the audio file to *.ogg format and you'll see it in the list of ringtones.

bro in terms of innovation, durability, quality and efficiency Moto is not even closer to tecno, Moto is still struggling with 2800mah with 8mgp camera while others on the process of moving to 7000-8000mah and 18-20mgp.. we are no longer in 20s when they pushed any rubbish in their factory down to Africa, we no longer buy names, Africans need something that will stand test of time due... tecno is a bae any day any time till others like moto come up with innovation plan
I wont bring myself down to your level. Your ignorance is epic.
