Bring 15k and if I don't buy you that lower light at ladipo I'll deactivate my NL account, bloody liars here on NL.(Note that I'm talking of the OEM not the fake China version that fades after some months) Pls never commit the heresy of comparing Toyota and Volvo parts here in naija, even though what you'll mostly get is fake China parts for the Toyota, they're still more expensive |

mayor2013:Big fat liar, initially it was a user who told u it's 35k, now you've rushed to the internet to pull pics out, oga I repeat, bring 15k and if I don't buy that light here in naija I'll deactivate my NL account and start afresh As if you buy your parts on that bloody site you posted, no be ladipo you dey buy parts here again? Rubbish!!!! |
| Re: Highlander For Volvo XC 90 by valarinz: 9:36am On Jul 24, 2017 |
mayor2013:Bla bla bla, you can use any derogatory word to describe Volvo cars, it's fine, but talking about expensive parts here in naija, you've goofed The XC90 is not even in the same class and year as that highlander , but still no p. Put your money where your mouth is, appoint someone neutral to go to ladipo and do a survey on cost of parts of both cars and come back here to post your findings, leave that your online rubbish, only less than 5% of Nigerians buy parts online abroad anyways And if that's what I want, I'll go scout online stores where the parts are cheap too and we'll see how it goes |

Volvo would be more expensive to maintain. Reason they don't have fake parts unlike Toyota. My own concern is about electrical fault n it's sensors... I'm using s40 . |

| Re: Highlander For Volvo XC 90 by komekn(m): 10:37pm On Jul 26, 2017 |
I noticed that the issue of safety was down played quite somewhat deceptively. Using misplaced statistics. Put simply the XC90 is the safest SUV in the world, that in itself us worth 60% of all considerations. You have to be alive to enjoy your car. The YouTube video below says it all, end of discussion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqNITUm3WA8 |

kingreign:I use an Honda but the Volvo Xc90 has a worldwide safety reputation which made various tech companies use it for their driverless cars. If you argue against its safety record, it's either you're being mischievous or plainly ignorant. |
| Re: Highlander For Volvo XC 90 by kumari089(m): 2:19am On Aug 11, 2017 |
With all Sincerity, I use a volvo S80 (2006) and those who are commenting about the high cost of Volvo parts seems not to have a first hand experience. i personally go to Daleko with my Mech (atimes) to buy Volvo Parts and if i must confess, they are relatively cheap. For example, i just bought an OEM Front shock absorber for 24000(Pair) and front pointer for 4000 (Right side) at Daleko for my S80. Though have never use a Toyota but i know from what friends told me that shocks for camry might be more than that, though i may be wrong. As per Safety and security, sure Volvo beats all Toyota product. Dont even compare the interior of an S60 to any camry or highlander of same year, the difference is definitely clear. Though Volvo cars have their own issues just like any other car. But Experience is the best teacher. |

Okoyiboz3:Mr no doubt XC 90 is safe, but it's undisputed, Highlander has one of the lowest fatalities record amongst vehicles. The 4runner and the Rav4, shares these records. Do some more research and let's stop being overly biased or over familiar with a brand cos we see it everyday doesn't mean it lacks pedigree.

kumari089:No doubt the Toyota company are conservative in their design approach cos they're mid class vehicles. Volvos are thorough cos they are premium vehicles. What about we stepping up to Lexus (a division of Toyota)? |
| Re: Highlander For Volvo XC 90 by FLAKARIBE(m): 11:12am On Aug 11, 2017 |
robobo: robobo:2006 2.5= cheaper running cost and good hands on @ladipo. 2007 3.2=fuel consumption is more, but remember also except engine size so many other things affect fuel consumption..but not as bad as people would say. Why I prefer 08 3.2 and above, is that 07 3.2 was it's first intro, and usually if they are bugs/errors are worked on, corrected for subsequent models. But it, s OK too. Still better msg than v8. V8 I love, would def own one for travelling interstate...(men of underworld looking for who to chase and rob) |

olasuncome:Good choice, but what ever you do, don't go near the T6 (2.9ltr Turbo Charged inline 6). The NA 3.2ltr i6 is way better. In my opinion, the best 1st gen xc90 engine trims starting with the best; V8 (4.4ltr Yamaha v8): Superb. People say its a fuel guzzler, but I tell them the fuel consumption is dependent on your driving style. On the highway, the mpg is quite impressive (which is normal in every vehicle tho). So if ure not a 1k fuel geng and u want speed & power, this is ur best option. 3.2: For the xc90, this is were a considerable amount of power meets mpg. T5 (2.5ltr Turbo Charged i5): Good engine with great mpg but IMO, the engine is just too small for the tank. T6 (I will not touch this engine with a 1inch pipe) |
