Anambra: Obaino to IPOB: You cannot stop the election
TONY
27 JUL 2017
By Nwabueze Okonkwo

Governor Willie Obiano has vowed not to allow the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB repeat the mistake made by the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB who dissuaded the people from coming out during the last national census.

Obiano who spoke during his visit to an erosion site at Odume Layout, Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of the state, while responding to the statement by the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu that there would be no election in the state in particular and in Southeast zone which he described as Biafra land, said:

“there is going to be an election on that day. Whoever says there will be no election is not carrying the interest of the people at heart”.

According to Obiano: “we will not repeat what happened during the national census period in the years back here in the state when those who called themselves MASSOB disrupted the exercise in Igbo land and the consequences of that disruption led to rating our population figure very low which is what we are still suffering today because we were counted less than what we are.”

The governor appealed to the electorate to vote for him on November 18, during the state gubernatorial election in the state for sustaining the good governance he inherited.

they will never listen.

Results would be announced and we'll have a winner if only one person voted. Their votes don't count.

shocked

1) The Igbos did not suffer after the civil war when they rose from the ashes to become the most successful and enterprising tribe in Nigeria.

2) The Igbos did not suffer despite being marginalized by all the administrations.

But deluded Gov. WIllie Obiano thinks the Igbos will suffer if there is no election in his state.

This is not just blasphemy, but the height of delusion.

Willie Obiano is not even respected by his immediate family, so I wonder how he became an Igbo god.
Re: Igbos Will Suffer If Elections Do Not Hold In Anambra - Gov. Obiano. by ESDKING:
Which census consequences ,na today Igbos begin to feel marginalised ?
So, they should go on and on and on, don't be deceived with this trash.
Election has been boycotted already.
Those people that have higher number during census, how are they better of.?
The govt should continue with their marginalisation because Igbos are used to it.

No election till they give us the date for referendum.!!

Ipob miscreants are bunch of illiterates who cannot learn anything.
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared that it would go ahead with the planned electionsin the south-east even if voters do not really come out to exercise
their rights as expected.
INEC should go ahead with its constitutional responsibility and ignore the croaking of these disoriented toads. The relevant security services are at its beck and call.

Last time I checked, Buratai is still the COAS.

INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Enugu state, Emeka Ononamadu, said that it had nothing to do with the organisation.
Good one there from Emeka, INEC has nothing to with organisation of some hungry rif rafs.
