This ride came into the workshop. Scanned and got the following fault errors as seen on the autel maxi Sys elite. Physical inspection and diagnosis would follow

Torn air intake hose

Oil leak into filter box. Air filter currently soaked with oil

Stucked open thermostat

Plastic bag

Clogged up injectors.

Ultrasonic cleaning of fuel injectors. This machine is used also to test

1) leaking injectors

2) fuel injector spray pattern

3) idle speed test

4) shifting speed test

5) acceleration test

As claimed by the owner

Possibly repacked Tokunbo or the previous owner was on a mission to destroy this PILOT.....

But this PILOT in this form, would not pass any MOT test, not unless it failed and owner shipped abroad ......

Leaking radiator discovered. Owner claimed he could repair it. We allowed him satisfy his mind only for him to have it sealed up about 3 times and never solved the problem. Pix loading as radiator is been removed now

Note: the leaking radiator was discovered using a radiator coolant pressure tester

As for the front wheel speed sensor fault as seen. On the scan tool both the wheel speed sensor and the wheel hub needs to be changed so as to make sure the ABS light goes off. A closer look at hub, the bearing has been been changed and doesn't come with an impulse ring.

Note: the impulse ring is very difficult to spot but through the help of a sharp sand it becomes visible to the eyes

Brand new wheel speed sensor purchased

Engine started just now. Found out 4 ignition coils are leaking out spark

As seen. This ignition coil seizes spark while engine runs. This was detected using actual values on the scan tool. This pix shows misfire on cylinder 4 .value changed to 38 to tell us that the misfire is heavy.

Note : by default when using actual values to monitor misfire value should be "0" while engine is idling

Update. After fixing the wheel speed sensor and wheel hub abs light went off. Test drove the car on Saturday and had a feel that the car was been held at the rear. Checked and discovered a stucked calliper hanger bolt which doesn't retract when the brake pedal is released. Further check on the rear axle. I saw the unbelievable transmission oil put inside an axle . No wonder the VSA has refused to go off. Pix of VISA light and transmission oil in the rear differential loading
