The man is batshit crazy.

Only fools would read and agree with him.

Meanwhile they keep saying the north is not monolithic, the north is backward etc.

Funny how he just said the north has veto power by sheer numbers in the NASS.

I wonder how a supposedly weakened and fractured north is able to hold everyone by the balls.

By the way he means he'd rather be a slave in the oduduwa republic than be a free man in Nigeria.

But he's so high on crack he got it backwards.

Sometimes i see how stupied some pple are in commenting. What is wrong in what this man just said, that they housas will not allow genuine restructuring to happen because the constitution favours them.Look at what is happening in the national assembly, where they hvvoted not to devolve power. And some ideots are here insulting some one who sees reason on what he is saying.Must everything warrant to insult. If there is no vocal voice like ffk and fayose.i dont really know what might hv bn of this country.

you do not understand the point he is making.

I will give it my best shot; FFK's personal reason for supporting restructuring is none of my fucking Business !!!! (forgive my language)
be it , selfless, selfish, I do not give a rat ass !!! (again, forgive my language)

The point is, if he is trying to use us the masses (those who are "pro restructuring"wink, who says we can't use him too huh

Nothing blind about it friend rather it's speaks a lot wisdom, further more "we" can always set him aside when he outlives his usefulness even before he knows it.

just saying tho.

when some people shout pdp, do you guys forget that the present apc are made up of about 65% of people in pdp people?

if one was a criminal before and repents, and when he preaches about the dangers of engaging in criminal acts we should not listen to him because he was once a criminal?

Agitation in Nigeria are always compromised by the lead agitators. Thus this current review will lead to nothing in the lives of average Nigerians.

The only thing that can save Nigeria is a President that can achieve economic and educational empowerment for all Nigerians at the grassroots.

Restructuring, secession and all such political gimmicks will only substitute a faction of the oligarchy with another. Unfortunately this may remain the case because the grassroots who suffer only care about the privileges of their ethnic, religious or partisan leaders. They care little about own fundamental rights. They have been conditioned to think that privileges of power enjoyed by their leaders are conditions precedent to their own right to dignity and livelihood.
They have succumbed to the illusion, swindle and idiocy of vicarious enjoyment: my tribesman is enjoying therefore I am enjoying. He never bothers to discover that the food is in the mouth of his tribesman who knows him not, and not in his own mouth.

Slaves mostly do not have the audacity to do drugs or bold enough to steal.

FFK represents a damaged good and a liability in every way, simply because he has sold himself too many times and for too long.

This crack head can even go to heaven and return, but he will forever remain irrelevant and a bl00dy joker that lacks integrity and self respect.

True. They would rather be slaves in Nigeria because they are too scared to fight for Oduduwa same as Ojukwu fought for Biafra

Later they will pat themselves on the back and congratulate themselves for their cowardice of not having the backbone to seek their own country.

Ever happy to be a Hausa-Fulani slave in Nigeria.

TRUTHTOPOWER:
I agree with you also. I only wish you start with addressing the very ignorance that created the problems you have correctly highlighted. The principle was captured by Albert Einstein when he said NO PROBLEM CAN BE SOLVED AT THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS THAT CREATED IT. The awareness of ethnicity and religion "as constituted" is so prejudiced that nothing ennobling can come out of it. There is no exception to this rule all over the world. The awareness we need is awareness of "shared poverty" and "shared Ignorance" "Shared prosperity and shared enlightenment" As we make progress under this awareness, the fish monger or pepper seller will appreciate the importance of electing or voting for people who seem most likely to guarantee the the pursuits of livelihood.

As of today, the majority of voters are ignorant. All they see are the obvious differences or similarities between themselves and their leaders in terms of ethnicity and religion. It is only after election that they begin to understand the gnawing disadvantage in the outcome of their choices. If APC voters for instance had insisted on debating the APC manifesto with the PMB team we wouldn't be where we are today. I supported APC because I knew it was appropriate to change PDP after 16 years of misery. I knew that ideologically APC will do no better than APC if we did not properly engage the APC leadership on the outlines of our common expectations of Change. Unfortunately those of us who wanted this engagement were in insignificant minority. The majority who simply trusted them and cheered them to victory are the ones complaining.

Now we are on the march again asking for another form of change in structure. just as we did in 2015 we have no idea how this change should be constituted in foolproof details. give a local government the budget of a whole state and a free hand to operate that budget, the human capital development will not be different from what we have today. Of course their may be more infrastructure just as in Lagos and Akwa Ibom but corruption will surely kill their initiatives. politriks, sabotage, crime and all social evils will be at play. What would you say about a situation where your opponents work assiduously for your best intentions to fail so that he can gain power?

I wish we can go straight to tackling the problems you have highlighted but I regret to acknowledge that we are too ignorant to appreciate the intricacies of corporate civilization. The solution to this ignorance is rigorous education. This may take few years if we have the right leaders. It may take decades if we don't have the right leaders. Pardon me, if I am boring and wary of joining another bandwagon.
We play the politics of power, ethnicity and religion instead of the politics of growth, development and prosperity. Our early indepence politics was a mixture of politics of power and politics of development. It was the politics of power that caused most of the flare ups at that time while the politics of development lead to robust development, growth and competition among the regions. I believe that if the Coupist had not prematurely intervened, the politics of development would have taken the lead.

The military incursion totally unhinged politics from development and that is the legacy bequeathed to us today. That is why in Nigeria political discourse is framed around the issue of power and it is usually power for power sake:Give us power, power must return to us, power has left our hands, we have not been in power and on and on goes the infantile cry.
Only but a few think development(hardly would you hear American public or her politicians discuss politics in terms of power the way we do). Power is the intoxicating wine of the elites, development is the heart cry of the people. And that is why when anyone gets there and drinks that wine he becomes dizzy, enjoys the party and forgets about the bloody people and their needs.

But the current structure fosters, encourages and entrenches the politics of power. Let the noose called Federal government be loosened some, let States or regions control their resources. When the power Base at the centre looses it's hold, our fascination with power will reduce. When the states/regions have power and some use it badly they will surely come under the interrogation of their people who will look at other regions/States that are thriving and demand for same.

Are there really good men in this world? Sure there are...men that are true, just, honest. Men who stick closer than even a brother and are just absolutely on point...lol.

Abisha was one of this in so many ways. Abisha was tall, fair and handsome. He was also emotionally healthy and was way balanced on the inside and outside that I just couldn't resist him...well I have tried way over seven (7) months to resist him. I had friend zoned him and place him on a 9 on the dreaded friend-zone scale of 0 to 10. I just wasn't ready for relationships as I had wanted the first man I ever dated to be the one I ended up with. So Him talking love/ dating was something I wasn't ready to get myself entangled in. Besides, he was way way older than me and that was supposed to be my perfect excuse...lol.

Anyways, the attraction between Abisha and I isn't really the main subject of this post but the man Abisha was in the healthy part of our relationship. Abisha was a man greatly invested in building up his little girl. He was a man that taught
me so many principles on being a better me. He taught me to play, to talk and be in charge of myself and emotions (the list actually goes on).

I remember this guy was there to check about 90% of every assignments I ever submitted in school, make necessary corrections and email it back to me before I submitted.

Abisha also taught me how to control my emotions and maturely handle differences. I remember practical cases where Abisha taught me the act of "talking" out dislikes, offenses and not dramatizing or nagging the normal way most ladies do. It was literally a more stress-free, fun, unique and amazing way of handling differences to which I am grateful to God I learnt early enough.

From Abisha I learnt how to care deeply for someone I love and also learnt the act of trust. ( yea...I was in a relationship but had 0.00% level of trust). Abisha also taught me "the act of compromise" and the "lets meet at the middle strategy" that makes all relationship work.

True...I was tough, inflexible and practically suck with some of my own childish ways of doing things(let me spare you some of those funny details) but then I was also stuck with someone who did not give up on improving me in the best way he could and while he could.

But then, what could have spoilt this true love story anyone would ever dream of having?
Was it my fault or his fault?

aminulive:
Former aviation minister, Chief Fem Fani Kayode has said that he would rather live a free man in Oduduwa republic than continuing to be a slave in Nigeria.

Below is a statement by Fani-Kayode made available to the public on Thursday;

"For those commentators in this forum who have never participated in or understand Nigerian politics but who tend to speak and act as if they are the only ones that are sincere about restructuring, I have the following to say.

I hope you have learnt a lesson or two from the fact that during the constitutional review exercise that took place in the last few days the Senate has refused to devolve power from the centre and initiate the process for genuine restructuring in our country.

These are the hard facts, hidden obstacles and bitter realities about the struggle that some of us that are in the field have been facing and complaining about for the last 25 years!

From henceforth let it be clearly understood by all, including those that desire restructuring but who have never participated in Nigerian politics, that we can never achieve it through the existing constitutional structure or the National Assembly.

This is because the system is rigged and designed to protect and preserve itself and because the core north effectively has a power of veto in the National Assembly which it will always exercise in order to block any form of restructuring. It is this point that people like Nnamdi Kanu and other ethnic nationalist leaders came to appreciate long ago and it explains their "hardline" posture on these issues.

The bottom line is as follows: restructuring will not be given to us freely or on a platter of gold.

It must be taken and if necessary it must be taken by force.

Finally, mark this: if it does not eventually come then I say let us cease to be one nation.

I would rather live as a free man in the independent Oduduwa Republic than continue to live and die as a slave in the Federal Republic of Nigeria."

The thing is nowadays Nigerians like to criticize any one that comes out to speak (I guess one of those antics of wanting to be popular online). For me FFK spoke real sense and we need to be open to divergent views no matter how "unpopular" they seem to be with the views we hold...It is in so doing that Democracy was Birth.

Always attack the message, not the messenger...Always remember that.
