I understand you had the privilege of a lifetime to watch a plenary session which coincide with the event of fewer representation of SW senators but you should've asked if numbers gives weight to a motion than lobbying. Even when you have the numbers, you can't bully your way through but lobby. Shouting at the rooftop in an attempt at bullying would only jeopardize your purpose. The Lagos special status bill & SEDC are the most recent showdowns that buttressed such. Despite full representation, those bills suffered at first instance.
