Hello mcobex, my sponsor didn't pay my tuition into my account only my living expenses. However she has the fees in her account and stated in her sponsorship letter that she is willing to and capable of paying my fees according to the schools timetable for payment. Hope this is ok since she only paid in my living expenses. Sponsor is my mum.

ccAustinpee4, Maziude and other gurus.
Since sponsor is your parent, it is a reliable sponsorship. You have nothing to worry about. You stand a good chance regarding sponsorship. Ensure the required funds is available in any of the accounts.(tuition+living expenses)

Ok I'll make sure funds are readily available. Do the funds have to be in a domiciliary account or a naira account suffices? I'm asking this because my living expenses is in my naira account and that's the bank statement I submitted to show proof that my sponsor actually transferred the funds to me. My sponsor also submitted her bank statement.

Gurus please help!

I got a medical request form today. However, I did an upfront test. How should I respond, please? And again, could someone confirm what stage I'm in? My status changed to eligibility stage today, but, my medical & biometrics have not been updated. Kindly see below

Hey guys I would like to state a current problem me and most of my mates who went to Canada to school 2016 are currently facing. I and my friends got 1 year study permit for post secondary after graduating and get into various universities our study permit and Visas expired so some of came back to Nigeria to renew them and most of us got refused and delayed and are currently missing classes , while others who decided to renew there's in Canada all got approved in less than 2 weeks.
Please do not make the same mistakes that we did, make sure you renew all visas and sturdy permits aboard before you return home for any reason.

CIC stated this vividly in their website from time. Let's study outside nairslsnd too for vast insights. Thanks for the info once again.

Yes it's ok since the school doesn't accept fees at this time. Just wait and whenever cic ask for proof of tuition payment you will resend the letter where the school state categorically that they don't accept tuition fee at this stage(most schools accept tuition fee only when a student secures trv so I want to believe that's your case)

Go with the attachment in the email to the hospital you completed the upfront medicals, they will use the code generated by the embassy to resend your result.

You are in the finalizing stage of your application as it proceeds to the final decision stage.

Over possible, you can receive your medical mail this week sef and from the case we saw last week where an applicant here on this forum got a medical mail and even before he did his medical cic requested for his passport for approval, so nothing GOD can not do

Good day house. Just started following this thread. I applied to study Pre-nursing at Brandon University as a second degree (having obtained my BSc in Biochemistry in 2014 and completed my NYSC in 2015) on the 7th of april 2017, and got a mail the next day requesting I forward my WAEC and transcript. I sent all the required documents on 18th of april and got a message from Brandon Uni on the 25th of april that they have recieved my documents and will have to be reviewed.
On 2nd of May I got a mail from Brandon Uni containing my admission letter that I have been admitted to start 3rd January, 2018. I submitted my study application on the 29th of June via VFS global Abuja with upfront medicals and got a message thesame day that my application has been forwarded to CIC thesame day with my tracking no.
On 26th of July, I created account on CIC and linked my paper application. I checked and my medicals shows passed while other things are still under processing. The interview line says I don't neeed an interview, additional documents says they do not need any other documents and final decision is still application still processing.
My brother will be sponsoring me. We have thesame surname and he resides in Finland. This is my 1st visa application so I want the gurus in the house to access my application and tell me what what they think.

Documents submitted

Study permit app. form and other forms from CIC website ( duely filled). Which was cross-checked by a VFS officer to be complete.

My admission letter from Brandon Uni containing my student ID no.

Court affidavit for birth certification

BSc cert

Photocopy of my passport

Photocopy of my brother's Nigerian and Finnish passport

Letter of intent

Letter of sponsorship from my brother (duely signed)

My brothers statements of account (duely signed and stamped) amounting to CAD 27,500

My CV

And my original passport.

NB. Brandon Uni said I should budget roughly CAD 23,000

I'm a little concerned because I've now seen people include landed properties, employment NYSC cert and professional courses which I didn't include because I just included only the documents the VFS officer asked for and she said my application is complete.

I currently work in my fathers bakery as a supervisor but don't have/need an employment letter.

Have some professional certs and NYSC cert which I didn't include

Didn't include my brothers landed properties and that of my dad and mum which is upto 5 different lands in different locations in Enugu. Which is up to 6 plots +

Please I want to ask if I can still submit all these documents I left out even though I have submitted my application or are the documents already submitted sufficient.

Please I neeed reviews.

Thanks

Thanks a lot Austinpee4. cheesy cheesy I just called the clinic: IOM Abuja and they asked me send cic an email. But will discuss this your option with them.

Update: I just did and was told they usually do not resend results. I should be fine with just sending CIC a mail
