So I fell I'll again, and decided to see my doc. On getting g there one young doctor recommended me to take malaria tablets. The last time I went for ANC, the doc that attended to me said once some1 is 8mnths u can't take malaria tablets. I'm confused o.

If this kin baby is hungry then I don't know again. Why can't old people just accept that younger people may have found a better way of doing things. My mum on her own side is there screaming Don't quit work yet don't put the baby in a crèche and do EBF until six months and if you decide to put the baby in a crèche make sure she still always sucks straight from the breast cuz bottles have germs. @ Booqee dear, up till now eh, am still wondering. Truout my journey and even in Lagos, I didn't feel nauseous at all. I ate so well eh. In weeks now I haven't enjoyed food at all but tru out my stay I rily ate well. Now on my way back just as we entered Benin, nausea started again. From yesterday evening till now am back to d usual pre-travel state. Wen I see pple eating eh, I will just be saying in my mind Iet 1st trimester pass quick o!

@ungrateful children. My MIL is a bit laid back too. Emphasis on a bit. She would push for like a week and if you don't budge she would forget the topic for a month then try again. As for the market women I noticed that when I report them the posts just get hidden from me but everyone else still sees them.

I don't think bitterleaf water can cure malaria and itmight not be safe for pregnancy Go to the hospital and the doctor would prescribe a safe drug for you

Allah has been so faithful to us. Just four preg remaining. Waoww. So its just a matter of hours before we meet our cuties. Thanks cappo.
Contractions have been doing me shege. They are now accompanied by very painful menstrual cramp and the urge to urinate and poo. It happened to me the previous night so much i couldn't even sleep. But they were irregular. The wicked stuff continued yesterday morning til evening. Na so I carry bag go hospital o, only to be checked and cervix stil closed. I was sent back home by force. Then It reduced yesterday night only to start again around 12:30am. To sleep na big war. This morning I saw something like mucus plug stained with blood but very little. I have decided nt to go back to the hospital until I see plenty mucus or my water broke. So right now its happy endurance hrs to me.

Mamas that is waiting till water breaks una dey try. My water broke and 5mins time I had urge to push. If I was home waiting, you can imagine me borning for house

As for MS, e no visit me at all. But dis 2nd trimester greatly increased my appetite and my urge for water (d 1st trimester no gree me drink water at all)

BTW, mama Bomgirl dey share edd with me! I was also given 29th and 1st but they both seems to be too far joor. #eagertostartmotherhood#

Lol your mil is wanting to take care of your lo, the way she took care of hers. That's how my mom was shouting that, what do you mean you won't give baby water. I had to tell her the doctor specifically said not to give baby water. She said, Ehen but I gave you water and nothing happened to you abi no bi you I dey see so. Many of our mothers don't know the new development by paediatricians, we have to educate them, if not before you go bathroom come out, dem don give baby Eba sef

Oya, I need advice on some things o. First, what natural remedy(ies) can I start using to avoid stretch marks? Secondly I am on vit b6, should I outrightly stop it continue? It was not prescribed by my Dr but that's what did the magic for me.

When the Grandmas-and-Aunts Collective has made you say, 20 times in 10 minutes, the following sentences:

"No I don't want to give Gripe water 3 times a day"
"No I don't want to give baby water, he's not thirsty"
"No I'm not going to put white thread on baby's head, how the %&$# does that cure hiccups?! "
Etc

Then they come and ask you, "Why are you squeezing your face, is everything okay?"

So on 11th I woke up on a very positive note, I will go for ANC, then go do my facials, pedicure and buy my cosmetics in preparation for actual EDD of 20th .
When I got to the clinic, my BP was very high so the doc advice that an emergency cs was the best option at that time to avoid stories that touch.
On 12th, my BP had risen to 190/140, I was somehow stabilized and wheeled to the theatre and baby delivered.
The devil tried and failed, to God be the glory. The baby was given a very big cut on the face when my belly was cut, and he got 6stitches as a new born. As if that was not enough, we got admitted at neo natal for jaundiced. I also lost so much blood, but I thank God it all ended in Praise.
I thank all of u for keeping this thread alive.
