Throttle body being taken out. Very dirty throttle body with sticky carbon debris

My engineers have decided to take out the inlet manifold plenum so as to have it properly cleaned. Dirty throttle body and inlet manifold plenum I must say 1 Like |

The Hemi engine, if this is Hemi, wasn't built by Mercedes and they had nothing to do with it except that the owned the biggest share in Chrysler. The engine was already designed prior to Mercedes and it was built in Mexico, not Germany. If anybody should be credited then it's actually Nissan. Also, dual spark plug has nothing to do with power/torque. It is used to reduce emissions. Try to inform your readership adequately. Over here being a Mercedes doesn't equate to excellence per se. By now it should be clear that the problem here is the uninformed owner who did not do proper maintenance on the car. Use of wrong type and grade of oil caused sludge to build up in the engine. Bad Nigeria fuel is also a problem but not using fuel injection cleaner made things worse. 1 Like |

mayor2013:Torque has nothing to do with dual plug. Dual plug is to ensure a complete burn to guard against unburnt fuel in the exhaust. Please provide your research to support that the engine you're working on has dual plug for torque. |

cyborg123:Well, with a bad pvc, oil can find its way into the intake track. This is why I used do acrankcase vent kit on my hobby cars. But that's a subject for another thread. |
