What is wrong with igbo people?

I am a typical Yoruba guy, though I might be joking on this platform about their tribe, but some igbo men are also good.

Apart from leaving with some of them in our family house then.

I also had an opportunity to live with one during my service in akwa ibom, the guy is wonderfully made, may be because we are both catholic, but truth be told, is not all igbo men that are bad.
Not some, a lot of Igbo people are good. If you live in Lagos or Abuja, you will find a lot of Igbo girls especially in Lagos who can even speak yoruba and other languages. If you to ladipo, alaba, yaba, ojuelegba market you will see a lot of correct igbo guys who don't give two phucks about anybody's tribe. They just want to make money and be friendly with anybody. Some of them will even joke with you speaking yoruba even though they can't speak it well..they'll make you laugh ..If you hang out a lot you'll see correct igbo guys having fun and you'll see their entertainers playing and dancing to their native ogene song( always very interesting especially the flute).

The igbos who come on NL making dirty noise are the bitter, envious ones who live in the villages. The ones who live outside of the SE regions and still hate are those ones who stayed long in the village before running out of the SE for breath of fresh air. Some of them also hate because their parents and forefathers have told them all kinds of false Biafra stories and taught them to hate every other person who is not igbo.

I also noticed that if you bring an ipod from the village in SE to either lagos, abuja, PH, their mentality will change after spending up to a year and tasting good money and enjoyment. Fresh breeze go blow that toxic ipod hatred comot their head.

I like what that first poster told her, that what an elder sees while sitting, igbo men take care of igbo women but mistreat other women from other tribes, thats because they constantly get derogatory comments about their foreign spouse from their tribes men who spare no expense in belittling others (inferiority complex)
They will encourage him to divorce her and collect his children from her at any slight fight undecided
Eg. Peter of psquare

MTN Project Fame Season 4 winner, Monica Ogah, took to Facebook to reveal that her Father warned her never to bring an Igbo man home as her husband.

The Benue-born singer wrote;

“So my father said,if you bring any Igbo man home for marriage,you are on your own..I said am not ready but why that?someone tell me anything wrong with Igbo men?”
And here’s the reply she got from her followers;

My deductions -

1. Your Dad is loyal to NCAN.

2. He doesn't want a son-in-law who wears your clothes & runs to Abidjan any time he sees trouble.

3. He doesn't want you to be a widow when your hubby visits Asia.

CONCLUSION - your Dad is a wise man.

This Dads point of view could be an after effect of constant intertribal wars on forums like NL, this is why i insist, that in the event of disintegration, all Nigerian forums that promoted anti tribal posts (to generate traffic)should be bold enough to accept the blames of the part they played in destroying our fragile unity.

Afonja,shove this your skewed narrative up ur ass.igbo dont give a phuk about who you think they are,they are just telling you tribal bigots they want stay away from u thru biafra.i dont know why you could take the pains to write such a long essay on igbo issue when igbo themselves dont care about you or your tribe,if not for inferiority complex.

Aint Tribalist or Racist ....but sometimes out parents tends tobe right witb issues surrounding marriage or union.....Every tribe n race is distinguished by various type of societal, cultural and religious issues.....but not all dat is said is d truth.....let us also put in mind dat variety is inevitable wen it comes to people who share same culture or way of life..... in other words ....... they are the bad, the good and d ugly in every tribe n race and sometime our personality as a person which ab initio is influenced by our environment, knowledge and experience overtime distinguish us all from the trending fallacy of every specific tribe and race.......drawing from my own opinion on dis issue our parents are 45% right n 55%wrong...... I rest my thumb
