Go back to your potor republic and smoke some red dust. Nasty homoflatron. cheesy
The fools are the ones littering this forum with "We Yorubas want Nigeria" then they use their other IDs to claim Yorubas are unity beggars.

Granted we have Yoruba miscreants too who are too ignorant of how blessed our region is.

What would a Yoruba man want in the SE? What's in the SE? Nothing. Everybody comes to Yorubaland to make money.

These ibos can lie.

They claim to own 70% of Lagos industries, but they can't even mention 10 companies that brings in $1m revenue/year, while Yorubas can name more than 100 - https://www.nairaland.com/3918290/yorubas-most-industriousrichest-educated-tribe

What does this implies ?

You can see the major cause of agitation in the country.

All companies have their HQ in Lagos. So they create more jobs in the west than any other part of the country.

This is the main reason why the acting president mandated all oil producing firm to move their HQ to Niger Delta.

You graduate from the South - South and South - East, then you migrate to Lagos in search of job.

Kaduna has 1%. So expect kidnapping to be the order of the day because it means there are no companies to employ the youths in that region.

The country should be evenly developed and resources decentralize.

It shouldn't be so.

I pray that someday, everyone will be glad to be a Nigerian.

A country where resources will be evenly distributed.

Why would a Yoruba man want to locate his company to the SE when Ibos themselves are running from the SE?

The SE is impoverish, lacks industrialism [ please, making fake gucci shoes in Aba aint business], lacks vertile land for commercial agriculture, lacks mineral resources in commercial quantity, no foreign investment, nothing.

The whole SE can not boast of 2% of the total VAT. I wonder which area they actually contribute to national growth in that region.
Exactly, and they make the most noise. Out of all 6 zones, their IGR is the second lowest only higher than the NE for obvious reasons

Southerners are being fools! instead of you to focus on the fact that the majority of the govts revenue comes from the SOUTH whether ibo or yoruba you are busy fighting and abusing yourselves.....meanwhile the Northerners who contribute nothing get most of it. Samr thing with our brothers from the Oil producing region, they contribute all the Oil money and the North gets most of it, yet everyday we hear how they have natural resources in the North and every year it remains in the ground.

It is time we yorubas especially the youths join the call for restructuring as it was in the sixties.....let everybody keep 50% of what he generates. There are a lot of Ibos here with hate filled hearts but Yorubas need to look beyond their noise and realise that we are both slaves in this contraption called Nigeria and quite frankly yorubas need to understand that Nnamdi Kanu is doing us all a favour. We are both slaves in Nigeria, you cant win an election unless the north supports you and you cant change the constitution unless the North supports you (to change the constitution you need 66%) is that not slavery? Yoruba ronu!!!

We always claim to be the more enlightened race, it's time we use our brains and realise we have a common interests and whatever you feel about the Ibos, Kanu and IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is doing us all a favour. I dont think Biafra will ever happen but the subject of the Northern stranglehold of the rest of us can no longer be ignored. Whether we like it or not, Nigeria cannot continue as is, let's be frank, it is a failed state. The SW of today is not where it should be considering where we were in the 50s and 60s.

We would all be better off (including the North) if every body has fiscal control of his domain and then contribute a portion to a weaker center.

Our Ibos brothers can be annoying sometimes especially with their hate speeches but let that not cloud your judgement....they are right at least in the sense that Nigeria is not working for them or for you and for that matter not for the Northerners, It is not working for anybody except the elites.

Yoruba people think o! Kanu is actually fighting your fight for you.
The same northerners u think is our main problem contribute more vat than south east. North West and North Central have bigger IGR than South East. Every single tribe in Nigeria contributes to part of the problem Nigeria is facing. Shaming north each time as being parasitic, while hailing easterners that compete only with North East that is a war-zone in terms of IGR and contribution to the federal's pocket is double standard at its peak.

And mind you Kanu is fighting for his family..Not Yoruba..You can choose to follow FFK and Fayose sha.

Thank God the silliness of your assertion is now becoming obvious to you. Consumers are the source of VAT not the companies remitting VAT. Most companies are headquartered in Lagos and remit VAT based on their head office address hence VAT for products and services not even consumed in Lagos is captured as Lagos VAT.

Efe, sorry to burst your bubble; Lagos can't go broke for anything in the world. We are talking about the heart of Nigeria here. This is the problem of the back man, we have this problem because our mind is fixed on importing.

The port at Onne is still there, that of Warri is non functional but I pray they don't fix it anytime soon because the stupìd, ill trained elements we have in Delta state would threaten the FG via the port as what is obtainable with refineries.

True, the success of Lagos is solely not that of a tribe but the bigger truth is that Lagos is the way it is today is because of the SW folks who have judiciously utilised what they and paved way fro baby Ogun to become the industrial hub of the country.
I understand you clearly, but the point am trying to make is that if other port is been attended to, Lagos will be decongested thereby leading to loss of revenue and low VAT.

As for ogun, nothing special about it, just an overflow of Lagos , you can as well tell me y oyo is not as developed as ogun since you claimed SW folks are good at paving way for industrial evolution.

so basically, ibos in SE are relatively poor because the rich ones are in Lagos? My question to you is; if ibos have that tendency to be rich, why are the ones at home relatively very poor going by all the stats?

Think about this, a lot of Brits moved to new land i.e. Australia, Canada, US etc, but UK did not become poor as a result. We know it's hard (ego), but just admit the truth sometimes.
