seunmii:The fact is that the so called foreigners are vastly experienced in matters such as the conduction of referendum cos they've peacefully done or supported it severally in the past. So if truly they are 9ja's allies they should be supporting & helping to conduct a peaceful referendum rather than encouraging diverse ppl who are mostly sworn enemies to be part of a nation they clearly don't want to and have communicated so via several means. There is simply no love in forced unity & I don't see progress in it either. Except we want to keep perpetuating corruption and enriching the elite who benefit from such false unity. As for the threats and violence I don't support it & it doesn't have to be so but remember this is Africa. From time imemorial till date we still suffer some form of slavery which never stops until the brave ones amongst us revolt and push back. It's easy for all of us the masses, to sit around and point fingers @this group or that and blame them for the national unrest in the country but know that 9ja has never been @peace & things have detoriated this much because the powers that be try to oppress and suppress the ppl into submitting to what they do not believe in. The elites don't want what's coming cos it's bad for their business. The issue can't be easily brushed aside anymore. The Biafrans are simply asking for a referendum....that's all. |

PHILipu1:Bros....make i no lie you...i don give up on the present crop of Nigerian youths than even this administration. Naija youths channel their energy to the wrong things just like the government. I doubt of the much needed revolution can take place with this set of people. They will rather buy in to sentiment and emotions rather than logical and rational ideology....to them....religion and tribalism is more important than National cohesion, identity and unity. Even if Nigeria divide today, each independent country will still face the same problem...Yorubas will start saying Ekiti is different from Oyo, An Egba diffrent from Ijebu. In Biafra, dont be shock to see the Abakalikis at the back office while Imo and Anambra continue their fight for supremacy. Already we know the bitterness among the Niger-Deltans, Isekiri vs Urhobo, Anioma vs Ijaw, even Esan will tell you they are not Binis. Up north...wide spread marginalization.
