FIRST Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Limited (FIRST E&P) acquired 40% participating interests in Oil Mining Leases (OMLs) 83 and 85 from Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL). Both of these leases are located in shallow waters offshore Bayelsa State, Nigeria. The acquisition transaction for the 40% interests in both OMLs was completed in February, 2015. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) holds 60% participating interest in both OML 83 and OML 85.

OML 83 covers an aerial extent of 125 sq. km, with Anyala field as the only discovery within the acreage. Madu field which is the main discovery within OML 85, has an aerial extent of 521 sq. km. Anyala field is located at a water depth of 55m, about 45 km off the coast of Bayelsa State and 23 km from Madu field. Full 3D seismic data have been acquired over both OML 83 and OML 85 acreages. Although both Anyala and Madu fields have been extensively appraised, production is yet to commence from.

An integrated oil and gas development plan will be carried out for the Anyala and Madu fields, with an estimated potential recoverable hydrocarbons volume of 340 million barrels of oil equivalent on a 100% interest basis. The produced hydrocarbons will be processed offshore in Anyala field within OML 83, with first oil production planned for Q3 2016. Oil production is estimated to reach a plateau of 50,000 bopd and the produced gas will be supplied to the Nigerian domestic supply market.

The work programme for the assets will also include maturation of infield deep prospects in Anyala field within OML 83, as well as near field exploration prospects in Ato North, Ato South and Songhai, within OML 85.

Why do these "I am Yoruba by the way" clowns enjoy disgracing their ancestors tho ? They're always on threads where Yorubas are bashing those miscreants. You'll never see them discussing Yoruba progress, you'll never see them on threads where those miscreants are posting afonja, brown roof nonsense all over the place.

And why is it that some Yorubas never respond to idiotic posts on FP threads especially on the first page. I think some people have no idea the number of people that visit this forum. Okay let's even say you don't want to be a tribalist. What about posts that are in accurate especially when it relates to Yoruba. You see clowns throwing figures all over the place. No one would respond until 3rd page. Wtfook!

The remaining 2 out of 100 that are truly Yorubas are the omo ales that have sold their senses and dignity because of Shinyere and Shidima puna they are enjoying at the moment. I don't pay attention to these foolish "I'm Yoruba by the way" flatt.ies anymore. Luxxor Gas develops a second CNG Mother Station

Having commenced the development of the largest private CNG Mother Station in Africa, a mighty 30,000 standard cubic metre per hour (scm/hr) designed production volume, in Ogijo, Ogun State, LuxxorGas has embarked on a new CNG Mother Station in Ota, Ogun State.

The development of the new CNG Mother Station with a production volume of 15,000scm/hr gives LuxxorGas a competitive advantage in the CNG industry, by potentially obtaining natural gas from two different gas suppliers; Shell Nigerian Gas and Nigerian Gas Company. This greatly increases the integrity of our gas distribution and gives our current and potential customers the peace of mind to confidently focus on their core competencies without having to worry about gas supply.

Having progressed through a rigorous three-round selection progress, from some good local competition LuxxorGas were selected as one of the two preferred partners to supply Compressed Natural Gas to the Lekki Free Zone Development Company (LFZDC), for its 12MW Power Station Project.

Lekki Free Trade Zone (LFTZ) will cover a total area of 16,500 hectares and is located in the Lekki Peninsula, about 60 km to the east of the city centre of Lagos. The Phase I Development of LFTZ, named as “China‐Nigeria Economic & Trade Cooperation Zone” (CNETCZ) covers approximately 1000 hectares (ha.), of which 780 ha. will be developed by the China‐Nigeria Joint Venture ‐ Lekki Free Zone Development Company (“LFZDC”). http://luxxorgas.com/news.php

Seems like we have a lot of such fifth columnists amongst us, unfortunately. They're always intimidated and prefer to suckup to our detractors coz they're scared shitless to confront them. These are the real cowards in our midst. You won't see their breaklights on a thread like this one, but they usually creep out of their holes to preach about 'One Nigeria' and lecture the rest of us about 'tribalism' whenever we decide to knock some sense into those flattheads.

Two US-based Nigerians, Bamidele Adetayo and Suleiman Nadabo, have developed a Web App, “Entertale’’ to give TV audience in Africa and the world quality experiences.

Adetayo on Tuesday in Abuja said “Entertale’’ was an online live TV and movie streaming services.

“It allows users to watch multiple live TV stations for free.
“The story of Entertale begins due to lack for African valued TV contents to enable people connect with what are happenings and watch movies and TV shows with friends they are already connected with.
“The App which is set for launch later in the month does not require monthly subscription, and the live channels would comprise international and African TV stations,’’ Adetayo said.

Also speaking, the co-founder, Nadabo stressed that the web service which solely focused on TV, allow users to also rent movies that they were only interested in watching.

He said that users would also get notifications on what their friends were watching, follow and chat with them. According to Nadabo, in the App is a feature called “Co-Play’’ which give users the options to watch movies they rented with friends irrespective of location.

“Using the App is like watching television in an alternate reality where you do not recognise any of the shows while evolving a new space that has been lacking in the African entertainment industry.
“Cord cutting’ might be getting another kin but this time it is driven with a social experience – a free service that mimics the cable box with Internet channels instead of traditional ones and cinematic experience.
“The app is still in its web versions where much of the content comes from YouTube; in its movie model cases, Entertale also makes direct content deals with big independent studios to access their latest library,” Nadabo said.

Supermart Founders Discuss Logistics, Payments and the Future of Nigerian eCommerce

Supermart.ng is an online grocery delivery service that promises to deliver ordered goods to all major parts of Lagos in as “early as 3 hours”. Supermart, which began operations in April, 2014 was founded by Raphael Afaedor, former CEO and Co-Founder of , and Gbolahan Fagbure, former Director of Operations, also at Jumia.

Gbolahan: I am Gbolahan Fagbure, Co-Founder SupermartNG. I’ve been in eCommerce now for 3/4 years now so, co-founding Jumia; we built that from scratch until we left in January last year. I’ve done other businesses before I decided to try my hands at entrepreneurship. In fact I worked in banking and consulting for about 4 years.

Raphael: My name is Raphael Afaedor. I’ve been in eCommerce for 5 years. Before then I was more in industry but I also did internet related stuff. I did Monster.com before coming to Nigeria to work at Notore. In between that I was at Goldman Sachs and then after that Jumia. The rest, as they say, is history. There’s an old Yoruba proverb that says that 20 children cannot play together for 20 years [Jetleeee]. When you build something and get to the point where you feel your baby is now on its feet, you have to ask yourself what’s the best way of spending your time, that can actually benefit the industry.

I can see that you are very myopic and unexposed. First, Nigeria which southwest is part of is a 3rd world country, hence you can't rule out poverty. Even US that is a 1st world country has slums, ghetto and poverty not to talk of Nigeria. We Yorubas don't go about self-denying reality like you Osus that make everyone believe that your roads are tarred with platinum and gold whereas your region is the 2nd most impoverished region after the war ravaged Northeast.
You mention Makoko, Ijeshatedo, Agege, Bodija etc. But only if you know that these places are like heaven compared to majority of Igbo towns and villages like Ivo, Ezeagwu, Igbo-etiti, Nkalagu, Ogbunike, Ihiala, Ekwulobia, Ishiagu, Umudike, Akpakume-Nze, Umueke, Ahiara, Oji river, Abala etc. you will cry your eyes off. People are dying of hunger in Igboland on a daily basis, go there to help them and keep your worry about southwest to yourself we don't need them
