Once again, Yudala is not a huge deal. Give me reasons? Facts and figures.

PS Jumai was founded by a Yoruba man.
If you do not know bro, Google would have helped you. eCom is my thing bro. I told you before that Jumia and Konga, including Deal Dey are ran by Foreigners but it seems you wanted to embarrass yourself more.

EXCERPT:
Founders[edit]
In 2012, Jeremy Hodara and Sacha Poignonnec, co-founders and co-CEOs of Jumia, founded Jumia (formerly known as Africa Internet Group). Hodara and Poignonnec have overseen the successful launch and expansion of nine services in more than twenty countries across Africa.[citation needed]

Hodara spent seven years working at McKinsey in France, India, and the USA, consulting clients in retail and e-commerce. Hodara is a graduate of HEC Paris with a master's degree in Business Administration.[citation needed]

Poignonnec worked for McKinsey in Paris and New York, focusing on Consumer Goods and Retail. He started his career with Arthur Andersen, and then participated in the creation of Accuracy, a corporate finance boutique based in Paris. He holds a master's degree in business administration from EDHEC Business School, France, and he majored in Finance.[citation needed]

and here is a link for your perusal https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumia

Are you happy NOW? As you can see, they operate in other African countries, not just Nigeria.

Ego is a bad thing bro. The fact that your thread has successfully garnered this much readership does not mean you know it all and this give credence to the fact that some of your earlier posted companies might be faulty. Make sure you cross-check and verify information before posting them.

Now, some other guys would go around claiming that Jumai is owned by Yorubas because you said so and you have erroneously and ignorantly led them on.

eCommerce is my fort.

Konga, Deal Dey are not owned by Nigerians either.

Yes, eCommerce may be your forte, but it would have helped if you had put your comments within the right historical context. sad Please just type in 'Founders of Jumia in Nigeria' into the Google search engine. And tell us whose names are listed on the front page as the founders.
How would you explain this?

Why Owners Of Jumia Sold Off Their Firm |

Jumia is rated as one of the thriving e-commerce brands in Nigeria. It became a household brand within two years. The owners’ decision to sell all their equity to some global investors has sparked interest, writes ADEDEJI ADEMIGBUJI.

Emotions ran high the day co-founders of Jumia Raphael Afeador and Tunde Kehinde broke the news to their young team of 500 experts at their Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos campus that new owners are taking over the business.

Inside the long horizontal office dormitory built beside their 90,000-square foot-warehouse, the largest campus in West Africa, where young men with an average age of 23 attend to thousands of online shoppers at the speed of light, Afeador, noted: “Jumia was an exciting one and a-half-year journey for us. We are extremely proud of Jumia and wish all the best to the company and all the people here.”

If Afeador’s message was not clear enough, his partner, Kehinde put the message succinctly. “As we move on to start our own businesses, we owe a lot to every member of the team, together we made history, together we have built Nigeria’s first and biggest online retail brand; a fate we never would have achieved without you.”

The meeting ended an era in Jumia, which has won several local and international awards for pioneering Nigeria’s first e-commerce website.

In a brand life cycle, the growth stage is a level when sales start growing exponentially.

During that stage, brand managers or investors often chart a new strategic direction to increase distribution to further enhance sales, according to netmba.com. As a strategic option, a company may also improve the quality of their product brands, adding various flavours or features as the success could attract one or more companies, more competitors into the market with their own competing brands; in effect, some competitors may try to lower prices to gain marketing share.

However, for the Jumia co-founders, to increase market share and sustain its leadership position against growing competition in Nigeria’s rising e-commerce market, bringing venture capital appears to have become the option. This option necessitated the founders’ exit, to build a new brand. Experts are wondering what could have pushed founders of such high networth company, to sell the brand to African Internet Holding, which is owned by a controversial German e-commerce cloning king.

The total global investment in Jumia later saw MTN, Rocket Internet and Millicom International Cellular acquire 33.3 per cent equity each in Africa Internet Holding, a partnership that will expand MTN online retail and other essential digital services on the African continent. http://www.theparadigmng.com/2014/02/19/owners-jumia-sold-firm/ ; https://ynaija.com/how-tunde-and-raphael-got-here-a-profile-of-jumias-million-dollar-ex-ceos/

Were Tunde Kehinde and his partner employed by Jeremy Hodara and Sacha Poignonnec to set up Jumia in Nigeria, or did Tunde Kehinde and his partner set-up Jumia on their own, only to later sell it off to Jeremy Hodara and Sacha Poignonnec?? shocked Which one?

Even ojukwu made his money in lagos.

They really have problem

1.They will claim lagos is no man's land when virtually 70% of Igbo(s) in lagos speak yoruba, the language of the city, while other tribes like hausa and fulani etc will not claim the same thing. you know why?....hausa/fulani has kano, ijaw has portharcourt.......but they are only struggling had to promote Anambra.

2.When lagos is flooded it will become a yoruba land to them.

3.When we are talking of lagos they will be shouting anambra and when an economical indices place southwest above them they will be shouting "REMOVE LAGOS" but they want Anambra retained.

4.when we want to stop their baby cry,we will remove Lagos yet we will still be above them. Then they will start shouting..."OGUN(nationally and internationally recognized industrial hub of Nigeria) IS NOT AS INDUSTRIALIZED AS ANAMBRA(A state not even as industrialized as kano).

5.In short,THERE INFERIORITY COMPLEX IS VISIBLE TO THE BLIND.
omg!u just reduced the flattinos to nothing.
