It reminds of the day i took a friend from warri to Latter Rain Assembly just adjacent my street to awe him.
Although, we arrived when they were sharing the grace; we were attacked by a bellicose member right inside the audiTorium shouting "who are you"?! "Where's your I.d"?!

My warri friend encumbered his asperity with some light jabs, it nearly turned into a fight before i carry my guy comot for the church.

We reported the matter to the security personells only to be told " Sorry sirs, not all members are saints, some are devils incarnate wanting members to miss their blessings"

He captured it beautifully. When I was there some years I had a verbal smack down with one of the hopeless ushers who was rude to my mum. These people have no regards for older people and it took every fibre of restraint I had in me not to start yelling like a mad woman. People were telling me to ignore the idiot guy "because you are in church." I am in church yet these fools are behaving like tin gods?

I stand here to confirm all what the writer has just written and at the same time, I am condemning the attitude of all the SCOAN Ushers, in as much as I love Prophet TB Joshua and his ministry, I have vow not to go to the church premises because of the Ill mannered Ushers there, the Ushers are not manner, they behave like tugs, use derogatory language on first visitors especially when you are a Nigeria. I will rather prefer watching every service from the comfort of my home. The ushers are even ready to go on combat with you if you are not careful. The man of God, Prophet TB Joshua have worked so hard and tirelessly to get to where he is now, the ushers shouldn't for God sake spoil what the Man of God has laboured for.

I am sorry to say this! Although, I am a Muslim but, I find it very disturbing the rate at which Christian religious matters flood the social media. And not even in a good way but, in a very awful way.

The religion keeps losing its essence with such informations being fed to the public via social media. Today alone, Nairaland has more than 4 Christian related topics that are not good ones.

I'm really disappointed to read this very depressing news. How on Earth a *PASS*to serve God and be treated unruly it's so sad these dude working in that church just want to rubbish TB Joshua Ministry it's so sad. What the hell of going through so much pains and agony simply to come to church and serve God this is sad and I'm very disappointed indeed.

How I wish TB can hear about this personally house of God is not a prison yard or a place to ask nationality if no freedom in the house of God then where else? Somehow of recent I like TB Joshua despite I was once his fierce critics but he has won my heart through his humility, simplicity and helps to people and I still like him and respect him but his staffs need to be fire and recruit a new staff no wonder many vow never to go that church because of harsh treatment I never knew they were saying the truth till now.

I have never be in that church and to be honest I was looking forward to visit that church one day but by this news sorry I call it quit because I have no such patient for that stuff of thrash for one bloody thing mistakenly shouted on me he will be beaten up by khaki boys with me thereby creating a scene which won't speak well. Sorry I'm off no need going their to see anything again.

I was captivated by Emmanuel TV sometime in 2013 and decided to worship there anytime I was in Lagos.

I cannot narrate my experience, but all I can say is that the demand was more than supply. The writer was so lenient in his write up.The workers go as far as taking bribe from people that want to see TB Joshua. I was shocked to see so many things that I don't see in the tv.
There is a line for foreigners and you must present your passport to confirm you are one.

There is segregation in seating arrangement. If you want to seat in the main auditorium or a good seat, make sure you are well dressed with gold accessories, expensive headtie. Just look posh. The workers select well dressed ppl and give them special seats. I was made to understand those special seats are where cameras beam most of the time , so they need to present good looking ppl on TV.

You must pay a certain amount of money before you are allowed to enter the church. It is a must for all new members. You are only exempted if you have registered as a church member and you are a partner. After payment, you are given a bulletin that is not worth 20 naira to print. You will also have to pay N5000 for holy water, though it is not compulsory to buy one.They say the money is not for the water, that it is for sticker, calender and CD. For that amount? Are faith items supposed to cost that much?

To me, it was just over rated.
