With heavy heart, I regret to inform you all that my decision to go for Blackberry Keyone was the greatest mistake I have ever made in chosen a smartphone.

If you intend going for that phone, please don't waste your money like I did.

I bought the phone 227k on the 14th of July, after discovering so many abnormalities with the phone I divided to swap the phone with IPhone 7plus.

The screen of the phone was very small and the navigating keypads are very slow in responds.

The only good thing about the phone is just the battery life.

It was a nightmare to me when no one inside computer village agreed to swap a phone of 227k even if it's for Tecno C1

The only person who agreed to accept the phone was the man who sold it to me. He told me that he can only pay 110k or I pay 185k for the Iphone7 plus. I talked with with for so many hours but he refused.

Tear nearly role out from my eyes as I transferred the 185k to him.

Nothing will ever make me use an Android phone again.

Please don't make the same mistake I made.

You are the problem here mister. What has Android got to do with a defective phone? Android offers the software for free not the hardware. Blackberry manufactures the shitty, unresponsive hardware. Don't forget manufacturers are free to edit the Android OS however they choose to. So if Samsung, LG etc can configure theirs right for their phones and Blackberry cannot do same, wetin concern Android?

There are thousands of Android-based phones working perfectly around the world. If a Blackberry gave you problems, bash Blackberry, not Android.

Stop being a bitch abeg.

This isnt about money but stupidity. In this day and age, it's normal to read up infos before buying a products especially when it's available everywhere. I've got an s6 edge and it's being two years and still going strong. I checked it out completely before settling for it.

I just checked how happy you were when you bought this phone, now you're like "I won't use Android again"

Don't blame the OS, as far as I am concerned you didn't experience any issue with the OS.

Blackberry died when they exposed BBM's API, now they have nothing to boast of and of course, they are going down the way Nokia did.

I mean you non offense sir, but pls don't blame your foolish decision to go for a blackberry keyone phone, and the horrible experience you had, on the ANDROID OS.

Abi are you the only person in this world using android?
Coz blackberry runs android, and the experience is shitty, does it mean Motorola or Samsung version of android is bad?

Sir, no lemme vex for you o
Dunno why you open eye and buy phone from a company that has decided to stop producing phones.

The issue is not the phone but the OP. The KeyONE sold out in Rogers Canada brick-and-mortar on its launch. It was hard to get after its release. And even most of those who had defective units (the screen was popping out), swapped for a new unit with better adhesive instead of switch brands. Crackberry forum was lit when KeyONE launched.

However, KeyONE is not for everyone. If you want a big screen, do very little formal emailing, and watch lots of videos, the last flagship you want to buy is the KeyONE. If you are a power user with tons of apps open all the time or an avid mobile gamer, the last flagship you want to buy is the KeyONE.

If you are a professional, use your phone primarily for formal communications, rarely if ever game with your mobile (I don't install games on my device, I'd rather play on PC or console), and place a premium on having a physical key board, then the KeyONE tops the list of flagships to get.

OP didn't do his research well and simply went for a phone that wasn't a good fit for him. It has nothing to do with BB or the KeyONE, but him for making a poor decision.

See let me tell all of you here, you know nothing about tech, bb is one of the best hardwares ever made, with vry unique quality from most phones, the software is very cusrltomized just like apple, there is lots of fake and doomed products out there, android will soon die, cos china have moulded the fake version using it to mass producion of millions of very fake and substandard phones, like infinix, gionee, tecno, itel, injoo e.t.c flooded into our markets.you bought moulded android and a fake bb,next time shine eye.

The Blackberry KeyONE is an awesome phone! It was not made for the average social media consumer but rather for business driven individuals and executives, thus the great battery life.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the phone and have no complains whatsoever. It's exactly what I needed.

Before purchasing a phone it's your responsibility to research on it to know if it suits your desired use.

PS: The Blackberry KeyONE is an ANDROID phone running on an Android OS not the BB OS.

Brillaint piece that most people don't understand. Plus i noticed the op is a dummy. He doesn't do his research before buying phones. He left Samsung Note 5 cos of memory( it's known not to have an expandable memory). Jumped on KeyONE thats basically for business and now on iPhone 7 plus. He will soon cry on this one too cos the memory can't be expanded.
