The only mistake you made was using a blackberry android phone even when it's obvious that they've lost the market. I could remember vividly when I got a Gionee S6s for 75k brand new and sold it for same 75k that I bought it. Same can never happen with any Blackberry phone. 1 Like |

OP, you didn't do your research well. There's nothing wrong with it just that it didn't match your use. Problem is many people think if they go for expensive phones from big companies then they have everything (that's how I was even though I'm in tech). But after careful study of the tech market, it became clear that even the smaller companies are using the same hardware components like SoCs, memory, camera and antenna technologies etc. That's why I left mainstream phone companies. Was a Nokia user and my last Nokia was N92. Then I moved to iPhone 4, then 5 and to 5S. From there I changed to android, Samsung S3 then LG G2, then G3 (which I still have as emergency backup) then LG V10 (which lasted just 6 months before bootlooping). I bought the Huawei Mate 9 in January and I've not regretted. Right now, I'm waiting for Mate 10. Samsung, LG, iPhone, BB are no more in my plans. Huaweis, ZTEs, Oppos, OnePlus are all overlooked but they are good if not better due to their value for money. First pic is the Huawei Mate 9, mocha brown Second pic is the G3 (white) & the bootlooped V10 (black)

zayidhs: Huawei is a mainstream player. They are presently the third largest OEM in the world and closing on the second placed Apple. The latter should be watchful else she will be usurped. I was expecting you to mention some lowly brands anyway 1 Like |

ollah1:Exactly. I was just laughing at that dude as he said he got the iPhone 7 Plus. Someone who is used to Android generally will not enjoy switching to iOS. And he might not even know that iPhones don't ha very expandable memory. He might have even bought a 32GB model OP, don't forget to tell us when you're having problems with your iPhone. Maybe then you'll switch to Windows 2 Likes |

Re: How I Lost 120,000 Naira In 20days For Buying Blackberry Keyone by godquality: 7:57pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
Ivegotsolutions:nothing wrong with android. Next time get a better android phone not blackberry. Even a low tier Moto G5 outperform the blackberry you bought. There's a reason why no one wanted your phone. But don't make a blanket statement about android because android flagship phones from Samsung, Oneplus, LG, Motorola would've served you much better than the crapberry. For now enjoy your iPhone it's also a quality product. |

It's not a matter of not using Android phone again. It's about being smart enough to know the specs of a phone you want to buy, compare prices, reviews and specs and then go for the best deal. I've been using an Opsson p9 since 2016 January till date. No cracked skin or any major issue. Next time do your research well. |

LordAdam16: I love you for this, I currently use a BlackBerry Passport silver edition and I'm planning on moving to the Keyone. This op almost broke my heart with this his revelation, till I realized that he wasn't sure what he bought the phone for. I'm a business man who uses my BlackBerry strictly for emails and whatsapp business communications . I don't download games and I rarely watch videos on my phone. So I guess the Keyone is for me. 2 Likes |

obidevine: I still have a fondness for the BlackBerry because 1. I don't use a lot of apps. Games urg - I have an iPad 2. Third party developers have created replacement apps for instagram and Whatsapp. Nemory studio for e.g is committed to servicing the bb10 legacy devices 3. I am getting older and don't have the cognitive band width to go searching for messages everywhere on my phone- give me a centralized hub anyday 4. My work requires a really secure phone. I in particular like the finger scanner and the keyboard suggestion and the swipe up feature do it for me. So those are my biases. Oh yes. I think it's a good phone for the business user. It feels good and looks OK. I don't do much apart from business emails ( tons of it) so don't quote me on processor performance. For a more technically astute review https://m.crackberry.com/blackberry-keyone-review Have fun! 1 Like |
