I already made a decision to go for ingolstadt. Please I will like to get ur outlook On this. I appreciate

My own Opinion; Just choose Mechatronics and thank me later.

Mechatronics carries more Content & Practicals........But if you know you don't want the stress, just go for Eng& Manag.

And if it's job wise, there are jobs in Schweinfurt & Wurzburg.

But the choice is yours.

Good day house would what to certify mine documents at the Germans embassy, don't know which is more preferable between Lagos high court and the German consulate general . being given admission at uni kiel please help a brother

As for me, no problems either way. But if you want to certify at the embassy its free for the first three set of documents after which you have to pay a minimum of 10Euros for subsequent ones.

As regards the High court I don't really know the amount they charge per document.

I did mine at the embassy so don't really know much about highcourt.
It's a matter of choice.

you are just talking because they gave you the opportunity to come to their country to study for free. hahahahahahaha

Nigerians and their gots.

Go to UNN or UI nahhhhh hahahahahahaha grin

Negro1986:

@Johnnyessence please all that are affected should bombard them with emails oo,, its very disheartening for someone to undergo the stress of admission and the expenses involved , and after just to be told that the dreams will die off just like that, because the embassy cannot schedule appointment when we all know that its not prospective student's fault on when the admission status/results are released.... If there is quota to the number of Nigerian students they can accommodate in any given semester then that should be made public for for Nigerians and the whole world to know, other than that its not a enough reason to deny people the opportunity of pursuing their academic dreams.... Those that are affected we stand with you and pray that a positive solution will come in time... Never give up on your dreams guys...... We will achieve our goals, fulfil our heart desires and dream come through to all who believe Amen...

Please everyone, my passport will be expiring on January 2018 but i have used it to open fintiba blocked account and booked interview. i need advise. Can i still go ahead with the interview and after the interview i apply for new passport and join both passports together? Please a quick reply regarding this my situation will be highy appreciated.

cc honourableseyi

Go ahead with your interview and renew it after. When the embassy ask you to come with your passport for visa issuance, attach both old and new together and send it to them. Also, make sure the remaining leaflets of the old passport are cancelled. Attach a short letter to it explaining yourself to them. Depending on the city you are going to, renewing passport in Germany is easier than in Nigeria. It is just like "wait and get passport". Shalom

better go and get a new passport before your interview date. You need a passport that has at least two yrs validity for a student visa

My first questions goes thus, out of schools I applied to there was a particular one that it is of scholarship based. I saw the link on scholarship-positions.com, I went through their requirements and I applied immediately. But what uniassist inform me is that I couldn't produced the german proficiency certificate to them. In the requirement I was asked if I didn't have the german proficiency I should provide IELTS results or TOEFL results. Well I have provided IELTS results for them according to the submission of the documents. Please experienced people in the house I need more of your explanation on this questions. This is the message Uniassist sent please read it carefully. *Uni Frankfurt Main *- *Master *-
*Geowissenschaften* We regret to inform you that
your application could not yet be forwarded to the
university you applied to. *Reason(s):* Your
application documents did not show the required
German language proficiency for the degree course
of your choice
. Please enquire at the university about relevant language requirements. In case you have obtained the required level in the meantime, please submit the relevant certificate as an officially
authenticated hard copy by the university deadline. If applicable, please see an automatically generated list of further missing documents below.

The reason is stated in the message. You will be eligible only if you have German language proficiency. shalom

@MechEngr.
Honestly both courses are good when you look at them from different angles.
System Engineering is another name for Mechatronics Eng.
Systems Engineering is Exceptionally beautiful in the sense that it focuses on the Complex Design, Optimization & Integration of different

aspects of electronics, mechanics, ergonometrics, aerodynamics, & software Systems in order to achieve a coherent and effective system.

This guys are System of System Engineers
So this makes them gods in any Manufacturing Organization because they are relevant in all these aspects electronics, mechanics,

ergonometrics, aerodynamics, & software Systems
. Meaning they can handle, & design a project from start to finish.

Renewable Energy is Hot (Sweet 16) ryt naw because the whole world is talking about 100% Transitioning from Conventional Energy

Consumption to Renewable Energy Consumption.

Well, Google, Apple & Facebook are the No 1 Advocate of Clean Green Energy (Renewable)

I don't know why you decided to go for Renewable Energy. But it is definitely not a bad idea

My Own Opinion: Brov, I would have suggested you do the MSc Sys. Eng. & do your PhD in Renewable Energy.

Renewable Energy limits your professional career to renewable energies alone which are mainly Solar, Wind, BioMass While Sys.Eng. gives you the whole Eng. specialty(if not all) to handle & work on.

chaiiii seriously am just seeing it now. Even it was someone I informed about it earlier that now call my attention to it. He said the language of instruction is German. Hmmmmmm. Well am only judging it by what I read on the scholarship link. Even that's the reason why I pasted the scholarship link here. Well I don't mind if you will flock me lol. Thanks for your reply bro. I really appreciate. I have emailed uniassist back on what next to do. I think they quickly changed the requirements when they see the population of people that applied.

I don't think uni-assist can help without providing that German Lang. Cert.. The only chance you av is apply for another course. And I think it too late for that now.
Just hope other schools u applied to will give u admission jaree.

Take that offer cos getting to Kiel and starting a room search isn't advisable.
My tip, take it and pay for one month better than starting a new search in Winter.
Do this after you get the contract
When contract is signed ask the Studentenwerk, if possible you let out the room for just a month as you'll be arriving in October.
Cheers

Hi house,

I want to ask if Health insurance and transcripts are required for Bsc visa interview. They are not on the checklist but someone said they form part of the requirements.

Anyone who had interview recently should please clarify.

Thanks

I concur he should take the offer. But the apart about subletting for a month is not gonna happen, since he is not already in Kiel.

Studentenwerk would rather assign the room to another winter-bound student, than become his agent.
