This is great!

We talk about the youth being the leaders of tomorrow. But most of us don't give the youth any opportunity to excel in our numerous organizations and businesses.

Yet, we like blaming the government everytime.

Kudos to Oyedepo for setting the pace.

Hopefully others will emulate him.

Now other youths will see this and know that age is not a limitation to what they can achieve.

My very own Dr. Azu. Congrats sir. Statsocial, it's like Covenant university is becoming the ever flowing river from which Landmarks draw from. Because I know what it means for people that are heavily invested upon by Covenant to end up in Landmark. It has been happening it looks like it will continue to do. Well it shows that CU has come of age and you never lack what you give. Very soon CU products will not only be the vice chancellors of fellow private universities but also that of Federal and state owned universities in the country!

If there is something I admire about Bishop Oyedepo. It is his radical belief in young people. He gives responsibilities that are almost unbelievable to young people.

I mean who uses a young trained pilot as personal pilot without a career experience.

Or allow 'inexperienced' CU Architecture students in designing the biggest church auditorium in the world(faith theatre) and every other building that comes up in the university and presumably other universities and projects being handled by the commission.

He did this same thing in Covenant university when he bypassed over 95 professors to appoint Dr. Oludayo(who was then youngest registrar) as registrar-how that didn't cause dissent, I don't know.

I myself has been skeptical about some of his choices. Especially using a pilot without career experience or using certified but inexperienced CU Architects for a project reportedly worth 40 billion(faith theatre) and 700 billion(canaancity)

But at least I have never seen any negative consequence to those choices he makes. Infact most young ppl he uses are excellent at the job he assigns them.

Yea very true. I keep saying it to folks who keep saying that"lecturers from public unis are the ones running private unis" that the tides have changed. CU is certainly not afraid to use her own and is now even exporting. The next set of lecturers in upcoming living faith unis would be graduates of private unis especially Covenant university. Currently the VC of Anchor uni was former Acting VC of LMU. I believe Deeper life requested to have someone who had experience from either LMU or CU which is testament to the fact that many private unis are seeing Living Faith unis as role models and templates to buid upon. The new set of Phds released from CU and the near future ones are blessed. Jobs in the academia would certainly be "falling" on them.

In what way has all these aforementions benefits poor mans children.
He should work on bringing children of no traces of success to limelight not making the son of the rich richer and famous.

By" fledgling" if you mean new you are right. But if you mean "not developed" then u r wrong. LMU is far developed than almost all state unis in this country.
