i have no issues with abstinence, as a means of birth control. it is actually very effective!

I kinda disagree with the boldened that was the reason for my earlier comment - perhaps i should explain better.

Relationships are complex $#!t happens. however should one find herself pregnant outside marriage, as a woman, she has far less baggage as a single mother, than as a separated mother.

Marriages in Nigeria is not as easy to dissolve and as a woman one usually gets the rougher end of the deal. if the man involved is being spiteful, he will just be dragging leg on the divorce and the lady in question is unable to move on with her life, whereas the "bingo" can move on as polygamy is still legal so he can have numerous wives and no one will bat an eyelid.

Therefore marriage should not be entered in lightly, not even for the sake of a child. women should think of the long term scenario, one doesn't have to be married to a man to make him responsible for his child's up keep. just because one wears the ring does not mean child care upkeep will be automatic. in fact may be the woman will even end up paying rent and general housekeeping costs.

Also we should stop confusing a responsible father with a responsible husband.... sometimes the two traits do not automatically go hand-in-hand. i know some men who are amazing as fathers but they are shameless philanderers. so if one has a man like that and you know you will be having hypertension over his lifestyle, why marry him and subject yourself to a life time of pain heartache, and maybe even STDs.

For MS, vit b6 and metoclopramide (reglan) works well.

Reglan is the generic name for metoclopramide and but I don't know if it's readily available in naija but it's very good especially for severe MS or hyperemesis gravidarium.

My doctor prescribed it for me, although I had an extreme MS (hyperemesis gravidarium) and took some other drugs including unisom (but the unisom was a waste of my time so I stopped taking it) but those 2 together can help relieve it.

The metoclopramide sort of constrict your throat muscles so that the food go t
o your intestines faster instead of staying in your stomach and sort of make it harder to come out.

And try out different foods and drinks to see what your stomach tolerates.

@pweetiebabe,please easy on the fasting as many mamas have already advised.I remembered i did 3days fasting up till 12pm when i was around 6mths and that same week when i went for antenantal, i was told my bp and sugar level was low.....since then i've been trying to improve on it though i believe it has improved now but it was not an easy something.
