Hello Everyone. Big ups to everybody contributing here and I'll really appreciate it if someone can help me with this problem. So I plan to start processing my travel and study soon but there is something that's been bothering me. I would like to work and possibly continue living after my studies in canada but I have a degree in psychology and I'm pursing an msc in the same course but apparently you have to have a PhD to practice psychology which means I most likely won't b able to secure a job after graduation. I would pursue PhD also but I only have funds enough to sponsor msc and would like to start working asap. My other alternative is to pursue a pgd in human resources management but I heard pgd don't get visas approved and also that lambton college is 27k c. a.d Anybody in canada that has any pointers would really b helpful. Keep in mind that many have successfully defended a career change and obtained their TRV. If you really feel passionate about your new field, I will highly encourage you to go for it. Your passion will show through, even with the way you write your SOP to the VO. If its something you are doing only out of convenience, by all means realign your course to something convenient that shows a progression to what you have studied in the past.

What you said about PGD applicant is completely FALSE. Aspa your intended program I will advise you go for your Msc, don't worry much about your PhD for now as you can get full funding for that when the time is right. I am not yet in Canada but that's my little take in this, hope it helps. NB: concerning you bot being able to practice psychology with your Msc I can't say about that, people with experience should be able to explain that

My assumptions where based on social studies background knowledge of gaining citizenship in country, that the fellow must reside up to 10yrs. I think it still holds in some countries.

Dear friends, please I need help on a disturbing issue. I applied to a University in Canada to study masters in Civil engineering and had spoken to two potential supervisors, who have promised funding opportunities if admitted. At the moment, I have 1 million in my account but I can be able to pay the required fees (20k cad) if not sponsored but that will be when I have a visa and sell some of my properties. My greatest fears lies in my statement of account. How do I go about this? On the other hand, I have a friend who is willing in to give me his bank statement of 80k USD but I am not related to him. Please, what are the steps I need to take as I am very hopeful for the admission while my application is under review for January 2018.
