To quote is one thing, to understand is another

you still confuse the figurative aspect of the writers.
please what do the writer means their fire of torment shall not be quenched forever

Coming from someone who said carcass is figurative but not willing to admit the fire in the same verse is also figurative. Double standard

"Pain and Regrets" These things are attributed to man as a result of emotions. So therefore, when we say God is angry, God regretted or felt pain we also mean that God in his ways is also not prefect.

How can you say the all knowing God regrets, do you mean to say HE never saw the future, that man would do what he did? God is beyond our grasp and so, we need to stop attaching those infect attributes of man to him. If not, we mean to say man is God and that contradict a lot of the teachings of the holy book.

RedArrow:
Have you ever bought something you later felt bad about it? Have you ever had to discard what you once Cherish?

God did not regret creating man immediately He created them but the regret came after man got polluted through food in Genesis chapter 3 and through sex in Genesis chapter 6.

If what you once loved and cherished got compromised, it can bring pains and regrets.

In all God will remain God.

Totally contradictory, If God torment sinners forever it simply means he is NOT A CONSUMING fire !!! they are not consumed rather still continue their existence.

For illustration: You want to burn some refuse, Put petrol and fire .. but it still left a huge part of the refuse Unaffected , are they really consumed ? When they are consumed, the refuse won't even exist anymore.
