That man is not the only person who has expressed amazements at the speed of the police statements. Are Nigerian Police so dumb? In 2013, worshippers, more than 100 of them died in a Catholic Retreat Center at Uke Anambra State. The Police made a statement as dumb as this one and waved the matter aside. We heard stories of a woman frying akara by the roadside and an explosion from the hot oil causing the panic. I agree there is every possibility of drug lords squaring it out but why inside the Church and who was the assassin , which categories of extremist are known to disregard supposedly holy places? Can we safely explore the options that the killers could be imported from Chad, Niger, Somalia and Sambisa forests. Mr Ikegwuonwu should sue the hell out of those media houses, joining the police if at all they named him, in the suit. |

As much asd police were foolish to come out so fast as if dey have something to hide, the truth remains; if that had been a terrorist attack, d attackers wud av claimed d glory! Also, any stranger, esp foreigners, wud av been noticed! They wud av stood out, and d mumu police, instead of quickly rounding up parishioners n questioning them b4 dey forget, they were busy making crazy statements! |

Cuche:So because the man expressed doubts over police report makes him intelligent? His reason is even more ridiculous, he is simply reinforcing IPOB's position that the murders must be outsiders presumably Fulani herdsmen or Boko Haram, his only evidence being the speed at which the police came out with the Drug war story. Now you answer this if it was Boko Haram, why kill only 12 people? Boko Haram would have killed almost everybody in the church and probably set it ablaze, and then Shakau would boast about it a few days later. Fulani herdsmen have not been known to attack churches, they attack villages and towns, especially those that they have disagreements with over grazing of their cows. the man is igbo, and has been defending ibos for a long time, there is nothing intelligent or truthful coming from him. He is saying Police came to conclusions after 2 hours of the attacks, but we all know that in the southeast Fulanis get to be blamed seconds after an attack all the time. |

Cuche:Even though the people told you the killer spoke Igbo you still want to blame north and Buhari Don't solve your problem keep blaming others Only 18 out of 44 Igbo house of reps voted for the creation of south east development commission .... We let the fools who didn't vote and blamed north Aba is the only city in Nigeria given permission to generate power outside the national grid ...and Igbo man is hindering that ...but we will blame north We had more position during Jonathan time which revived highest revenue in Nigeria ...yet they did nothing to help the south east what do we do ...we blame north Billions are collected every month as levys and are undeclared in Osha and Aba and yet we blame both for the underdevelopment of our place Continue When Kanu went to the USA to solicit money to buy arms to fight Nigeria The smart igbos there asked him we have had what is done to igbos by outsiders but befor we solve that what are the igbos doing to the igbos Kanu has never condemned any south east governor for corruption , has never provided any solution to our problems People like you are the reasons we igbos will never be taken serious in Nigerian politics |

I totally agree with this man, too many stories have been churned out regarding this unfortunate incident and there's a very high chance that all the stories we've heard are false... |

Very effective response to that very stupid question. Channels panelists do ask very stupid questions that reflect ethnic prejudice or stereotype. For the first time I saw someone give it back to them in a covertly less offensive manner. Very intelligent man. |

mrvitalis:Very inaccurate summations The are more questions emerging as a result of the police report on the church attack. You don't read updates. It's the government that is hindering the geometric power plant in Aba not some fronted igboman. Follow the updates and stop being superficial. DW tv asked kanu about the alleged move to solicit for arms to fight NIGERIA. He clarified every damn thing. Once again, your shallow and revisionist stance seems like you are been intentional about it. Kanu condemned every Politician including the Igbo one e.g ta Orji, rochas, obiano, etc so stop trying to be clever by half. Read my post properly again before you comment. |

The Umar presenter is really daft. He was asking stupid questions and he was being really rude without making any sense. Chamberlain knew he was messing up, you could tell from his reaction. |

The speed with which BBC Africa carried the news with the police and obiano statement shows that there is local and international conspiracy going on against the east and ipob. |

Most of the police official comments that came out after the savage in Ozubulu have reinforced the desire for the disintegration of the Nigeria. The best thing to happen to all people of the cesspit called Nigeria is to part ways from each other. There is no amount of bandage approach that will ameliorate the situation. |

wirinet:There are customs, police, navy and army check-points all over Igbo land yet nobody was able to intelligently discerned that a Toyota Hilux vehicle was loaded with assassins and their assault rifles. Anybody who says that Ozubulu church massacre stemmed from drug war is a borderline slowpoke. |

DerideGull:Then give us your own theories. The man is well known in his community as a drug lord (I learnt the same from an Ozubulu indigene even before the immediate police statements) and no other theory makes sense to explain that mindless carnage. It certainly wasn't a terrorist attack. Terrorists by their very nature always lay claim to their acts to spread terror among the populace. People in denial like you are a major problem na ala Igbo. There is something seriously broken in our value system that makes so many of our youths risk everything to push drugs in foreign climes. If it doesn't shame you that everytime Nigerian youths are paraded in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India etc for drug peddling, they turn out to be ndi be anyi, it certainly shames me. It is shameful. It has to be condemned and such people with ill-gotten wealth are to be ostracized, rather than embracing and soliciting their blood money that has so damaged many impressionable youths who dreaming of quick wealth, follow the same path. I personally have a paternal cousin in Anambra and everyone knows the immensely wealthy maternal side of his family are drug peddlers and the young man has joined his uncles in Joburg to pursue the "family business". That's how they tarnish the reputation of Igbos and Nigerians as a whole. |

I was in Jos on sunday when the news of the attack broke out. I was angry when i watched the news at 10 on PRTV (Plateau state broadcast chanel). They emphacised on the news that the gunman spoke in igbo while shooting at the worshippers. This got me seriously thinking. What's news worthy about the language the gunman spoke? We're really not one in this country |
