Hey guys, I am just new to this forum..

I am Computer Science student and I am very passionate about it, I am little confused about which language I should learn for game development..

I want to know, please help and give me suggestions, try to cover all those which are essentially needed for game development..

Unity3d is best for beginners as it was built to be a blank canvas for multi platform game development.

Just about any programming language nowadays can be used to make games
Even the last born HTML5 is used in building many ground breaking games .
I advice you should understand the fundamentals of programming first .
Understand some graphics (either 2d or 3d or both)
Then choose a game engine ,there are tons of them
Unity is cross platform and its also cool
You can try Godot engine , its also cross platform and very very small and open source too (just 20mb !!!!!)
