how old was this child? Less than 3 years old? For older children yes with moderation but please for less than 3 years old leave them for me like that. I pity the teacher that will use a cane on my less than 3 year old child. I remember a teacher being sacked after my dad stormed my older brothers school for this same flogging that mistakenly entered his eye. I thank God so far that my children are doing well in all aspects. They get praised everywhere they go. They only snag is the 2nd one that plays too much and has no fear at all as in too bold. But that I know she got from me. And we are working on it for her to know where to draw the line. All 'im saying is that these children pick A lot from people around them e.g. parents, caregivers older ones etc. If your child is too aggressive you better do some checking around. The way we r viewing this Cain issue as if Na guard room standard. The way u can't give a 2 yr old fd measurement dts meant for a 10 yrs old child, same way u can't punish a 2 yrs old d same way u'll punish a 10 yrs old child. Mind u, if the unit is a hot zone and the commander in charge of the unit is not understanding, mehn, u'll only see ur hubby 4 honeymoon for nothing more than a week. The company i work does not have a branch in that location. Well just like you advised, i've decided to dump the idea of resignation. However, my husband is hoping for a relocation back to Lagos and he's working towards it.

Its really not easy living alone these past few days but i'm sure coping. My younger brother also slept over for the last two nights but its not really the same. Cos I dont even feel scared sleeping alone in the house, i only feel lonely.

also i think MS is gradually fading away.. my appetite is coming back slowly..i haven't vomitted in 3 days now i think. but I still can't eat meat/fish and rice too.

Take a chill pill ma'am. I wouldn't flog a kid when I know it would make no meaning. I taught in a secondary school and the child was a JSS 2 pupil. I never flogged on the eyes and it was not true that the eyes were swollen. I asked the mama to bring her let me see the swollen eye but she couldn't. The school had stringent rules about flogging like I said, such that a teacher was punished for it. I cannot discipline without reason and that was why the mother appreciated me in my case. I am no fool to flog a less than three year old kid when I know it would make no sense!

My sister, no be small thing o. Sometimes, I look at him to be sure he is still the same innocent baby I gave birth to. We have stopped beating him cos its not even helping matter, had it been he had started school since, I will say he learnt it from there. I believe its a stage they will outgrow, but the time is what I don't know. God help us.

My children's school have teachers appreciation day see gifts. It's not compulsory though. And the management checks out what you give to the teacher it must not exceed a certain amount of money. It's done once at the end of the school year so as not to cause favouritism in between.
