No legal way of getting a handgun yet in 9ja.

Unsupported format in Nigeria.


When i was little some rich men have guns in their houses but till now i dont know the method of purchase.

You can only get a double barrel gun and get a licence from the police afterwards

you gonna need to obtain a fireArm license from the police.and get aquinted with the laws and regulations of possesion as for acuisition you gonna have to speak to a qualified person probably a police officer or a lawyer...just know it aint cheap...

You need to be at least 35 years old, with a reasonable and legitimate source of income, you also need to undergo psychiatric evaluation, then write an application to the commissioner of police where you reside, there's a fee to be paid annually for the license, I love guns a lot that's why I know this, when I reach that age I would acquire my own firearm
