So I have just refilled my form and included two things : primary school details and relative (aunt/uncle) and my profile became eligible.
I don't know which of these made it ok(cos I know aunt and uncle don't give points)
Just thought to report back to the thread

Primary school details? Is there even a place for this? Your maternal or paternal aunt or uncle will give you 15 points extra but be sure they'll provide you with proof as you're claiming points for it.
I'm really surprised at the primary school details I must say.

You were obviously below 67/100 in the six factor eligibility test. (Aunt/Uncle) in Canada will boost your eligibility score by 5 points but not give additional points on express entry scoring scale.

Modified.

Please guys, it's a whole lot of mixed up info. Can anyone clearly list what can serve as valid POF source. For example, stocks, bonds, FD, current account bal etc. Most importantly can PF be added to boost POF?

I am a newbie and this means a lot to me. Thanks.

Airlines also give registered agents some really cool discounts. I have gotten a ticket at almost half price from an agent.

Abeg tell dem oh......I have had good experiences with agents. I think it depends on the agency, what you need, proposed travel date and time of booking. The time I used agencies, it was for a uk trip and I was suprised same emirates they were giving me for very cheap was more expensive on the Emirates website at the same time.
The agency i used was a very reputable one, i guess there are many popular but scandalous ones who just know how to play with amadeus and now milking people.

Now i just bought a ticket to abu dhabi for october and I bought directly from Egypt air because that's the cheapest I got when compared to agencies

This update means that your file has moved from CIO to a LVO, that's has been the trend for folks stuck in CIO, you can email them to find out what your LVO is. Mine is London and that means a really long wait.

Babe if i were you, il use 1121 (HR professional)
and claim 3yrs. Bcz weda u r manager or officer u r a professional.
I was considering this o. I was just scared as my employment letters and ref letters will say HR officer and HR manager respectively.
Does anyone think this will be an issue. Using NOC for HR professional?

Getting very cheap tickets is totally different from booking a ticket for 2 weeks... That was your question right?

Please find my opinions in Red.

MissG:
Congratulations to those who got their COPR, PPR and Ietls results.

Please I have a few questions, kindly bear with me.

I got my ITA in May and had till August to put in my PR application. I started gathering my documents really late and by the time I was ready to submit I found out the exchange rate had gone up and I was short 200k for a family of three. I also found out on this forum that my husband needs a UK PCC as his cumulative visits to the UK is over 6 months(I assumed it was only if you were resident in the country). Anyway my ITA expired and my EE profile also expired.

I reached out to the province that nominated me and my nomination was transferred to my new EE profile I opened last week. Now I want to do it right and make sure everything I need is correct so here goes my questions. Congrats on your new profile and ITA

1. Can I move one of my employment to personal history after I have been accepted into the pool, I am not claiming points for it as it was a company I worked for 5 years ago. Sure, you can move them to personal history and leave the one(s) you are claiming points for and getting reference(s) for.

2. Due to the fluctuations in forex my husband wants to buy dollar and pay into his dorm account which will be used as pof, how do I show where the funds is coming from as the money will be withdrawn, dollars will be bought from Aboki and cash paid into the dorm account. That shouldn't be a problem, just show proof of flow of funds and also write an LOE explaining why you had to do that... Fluctuation of dollar.

3. Does Cic always ask one to send in a Schedule A form if the applicant once had visa refusal even though the visa was granted a month later and subsequent visas renewed. Not always, but a visa refusal doesn't deter your chances. Just be truth in filling all details.

4. I am currently pregnant, If I inform Cic after the baby is born and PPR mail has been received, will I be asked to send in updated proof of funds. You probably would if it happens before PPR... Not sure about after (I doubt you would tho). But make sure you inform them if you notice your application is taking some time and you sense you might deliver before you get PPR.

5. I will be having my baby in the US, when we are asked to submit our passports after PPR, can we ask to change the location to submit our passports. I would assume you are due any moment based on this detail. While informing CIC of your delivery, also state where you would be located... I'm sure you will be advised accordingly.

So sorry for my many questions.

Thank you and good luck to everyone!

You are not to submit employment letter

what matters is the duties specified that u do not what ur job title is.

So read ur ref letters job specification and look for the Noc that has does duties stated.

U can still claim ur 3 years as long as ref letters are available for both companies. Good luck

MW, I got a movement on my file on thursday - Review of additional documents now No additional documents needed, after 46days. I think I triggered that though, Since they said my file was still at CIO, I kukuma raised a CSE and sent wife's FBI PCC to them (we were initially waiting for them to request since we had that debate of 5months+ not qualifying as 6months) ... I am just relieved that there has been some activity now sha, no matter hw insignificant it might looked.

Congratulations to all the recipient of the recent ITA, it shall end in praise.

Dear 40manlappy

Thanks for the advice. Really appreciate. Was hoping there would be reference case of this oversight from the VO. Pls if u can get me that post u cited below for the oversight of PVC duration. I wouldn't mind. I think a LOE would do after I would hav rechecked and be sure it's not up to.

For the work references, my wife had a fallout kinda with the first employer and she wouldn't want to go back there as its bn some years now. The grumpy old man will think it's because of immigration my wife needs his help. We r more disposed to this senior lawyer as hes more flexible and appreciative. We can fill in for time she did one yr with the previous employer with his firm and use the time she went to US to hav our baby for the gaps.

What do u advise?

I haven't been able to get the link. Will share if/when I get it.

IMO, you should be fine if the "senior lawyer" is willing to provide employment reference for the required period.

Hello guys, I'm new in this Canadian express entry for Federal skilled workers and i need some brotherly advise.
I have gone through their requirements of scoring minimum of 67% in language skill, education, work experience, Age, adaptability and lastly securing a job before you can be invited to apply for permanent residence visa. Now my headache is;
1. What is the ideal first step one should take for this program?
2. What is the financial implication of this program as per how much ll it gulp from the beginning to the end?
Note: I am not dat financially buoyant but i want to try my luck thats why I'm asking. Pls, brotherly advise ll be appreciated

Good morning House.

Please, I am at the ECA and IELTS stage however, I get worried about this POF saga. I have read so many views about pof and CIC requirement. Please seniors in the house should take a look at my situation and help please.

I currently do not have the funds in any of my account but I have talked to my cousin and he has promised to help me with some of the cash, secondly, I will be getting some sort of gift deed from my parents too.

So am thinking, an account that witness low cash deposit like 3k, 2k, transfer of 800 naira grin e.t.c all of a sudden gets huge deposits of 3milla and 2 milla respectively within a short period of time.
Would it be wise to get the deposit done before even getting an ITA or wait until ITA is received before getting the funds.

I would appreciate a foolproof explanation of pof relating to my case.
Many thanks.

Welcome to the journey man!

1. All the major steps are on the first page of this thread. Located Page zero and read to at least page 50. The knowledge will help you a lot.

2. The money part eh....its experienced folks that can help but the larger your family size, the more you spend and the more proof of funds you need. Hopefully someone who has run through the process will respond and give you an idea.

However, the financially buoyant part, you'll still need a couple of millions i think so your definition of not being financially depends on your own pocket but i advice you strongly do your planning well so you won't get stuck in the middle and out of funds.

Best!

yes u can evaluate your highest degree only. id rather you wait till october and evaluate your PhD since you'd get higher marks for it but, judging by current crs scores, you should be just fine evaluating masters.
