Why do men cheat on their wives?


Infidelity is a major challenge in most marriages. Some women believe that all men cheat on their ladies but that can only be an assertion and not a fact although everyone knows that a lot of men cheat on the wives. It is very easy to point accusing fingers at a man who cheats on the wife but before nailing him, it is worth knowing the reasons why men cheat on their wives. Before we look at this long list of reasons, we need to establish the fact that even though some reasons look very reasonable but it should not be a room for a man to cheat on the wife. Every problem can be fixed if the man and woman are sincere and would love to be with each other.

But research has shown that some men who watch all kinds of pornographic movies, tend to have some unfulfilled sexual desires which they would like to act out once the slightest opportunity presents itself. A friend of mine was telling me about her friend whose husband was pestering to bring one of her friends for a party. The wife gave in after so much pressure from the husband, invited one of her friends for party with her husband. The wife said she would rather watch her husband have sex with another woman in her presence than to have him go have it outside. This is the state of some men. Pornography sells unrealistic tendencies most times to the man enjoying it unknowing to him which overtime could cause him to desire some kind of sexual activities that may lead to cheating considering the fact that his wife may not be able to live up to his sexual expectation. This is really a major challenge. A woman narrated the bad experience she passed through in her family to us about how she caught her husband watching pornography and masturbating to it in the middle of the night. She said they have not had sex for 3 years, the husband never bothered, she felt it was busy schedule although she knew that the husband had an extra-marital affair some years back which was over. She decided to check on the husband that night because he normally leaves her in the night to go work at night in the living room, only to discover that he was jerking off. She had a partial stroke due to the shock of what she saw.
