homesteady:You need to re watch season one like I am currently doing, all the plots makes perfect sense. Remember when Sansa lied she didn't see nothing when joffery attacked the butcher's boy. Sansa (God i hate that bit_ch) turned against her family just to be queen. She even watched her dad's execution from the high table. Little did she know Arya was watching her too |

Dalek:I think Jon and team spent over a day surrounded by the Wights. Jon and the crew were walking slowly and talking when traveling and Gendry set off for eastwatch in double time....... for him to arrive eastwatch after running 10hrs is sound. A raven can be in dragonstone from eastwatch in half a day and realistically dragons of the sizes we see in GoT can travel at least 300-350miles/hr, maybe faster. So, theoretically dany can make two or three round trips to Eastwatch in a day from dragonstone. I don't see a total breakdown of logic like some people seem to think. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Cybertext(m): 8:41am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Dalek:Yea I believe talking about plot is different from unnecessary criticism. ..some peeps are now GM of IMDB , rotten tomatoe etc... @bolded it's a fantasy tale you don't expect everything to fall in line with reality. .. we don't know how fast a raven flies or the top speed of a dragon. .. we also don't know the miles (distance) between eastwatch and that mountain where gendry ran from ( to me it might be less than 5miles to you it could be way more). We don't know the distance from Dragonstone to eastwatch in the show... all we know is what we see and imagine for ourselves. The book is quite different from the show even though there are a lot of similarities. |

IamLEGEND1:well said, i only had issue with the guys saying dey trekked for one hr from eastwatch b4 gendry ran back. its just too close. if the army of the dead is just an hr from the wall, then all chips are down. Jon snow merry band were on that rock for close to a day. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by IamLEGEND1: 8:42am On Aug 18, 2017 |
obiageIi:what did you expect her to do during her father's execution? Grab a sword and start slicing through people? Arya would've been at the high table too if she hadn't bolted earlier. And what did she do from the crowd? Nothing. Jofferey was next in line to be king, Sansa understood the consequences of calling him a liar in front of everyone......unlike Arya who just wants to prove she's not to be messed around with by anyone even to the detriment of HER own family. |

Magnifico2000:See question? Was Cersei hiding this from anyone? |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Dalek(m): 8:48am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Cybertext:the only unnecessary criticism i see here are the Sansa kinds. we know it's fantasy, the show runners made it known that time jumps will be frequent now (started with varys last season finale). we don't need to know the distance, the wall is far to kings landing, dragonstone is farther. check the map. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by codedguy1(m): 8:50am On Aug 18, 2017 |
TheKingIsHere:You make it sound like sansa definitely knew she was betrayib her family and still did it. She was a little girl naive and stupid sincerely thinking it was going to save her father and it could have only for the unpredictable joffrey to give the order for Ned to be killed. If you noticed even cersei and others were surprised with that order from king ng joffrey. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by IamLEGEND1: 8:50am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Dalek:I agree. When we met them, they were so far into the north that even the wall was out of sight. Pesin fit cover that kyn distance in an hour? Wally west go struggle to achieve that goal. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Dalek(m): 8:54am On Aug 18, 2017 |
IamLEGEND1:with the wall so high, anyone on top will be able to see that distance. Gendry running that fast na scam. next episode the time jumps will be worse. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Gbola5(m): 8:54am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Magnifico2000:Jaime or Cersei had nothing to do with it. The book implies it was Joffrey that sends the assassin. Though dissatisfactory. |

IamLEGEND1:But niqqa shouldn't have left Winterfell uninformed of his whereabouts, at least a raven would have been enough. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by IamLEGEND1: 8:55am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Nicolars:Hahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... I don tire for this argument I dey tell you. Some people go just blatantly ignore everything logical about what Sansa is doing and focus on the negatives, which they magnify to disproportionate levels. Even tywin and the other lannisters were shocked by what Jofferey did.... How then was Sansa to know? LOL |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Eberex(m): 8:57am On Aug 18, 2017 |
obiageIi:Give her a break. Sansa was an immature girl back then. Secondly, remember when Jeofrey visited Winterfell first time with his family? did you see how he and Sansa exchanged glances? Arya took note of this reaction from her sister indicating Sansa was falling in love with Jeofrey (ofcourse she doesn't know he was a beast then). That played a part in her wanting to please him at all cause just to be queen. But with regards to her father's execution, she was deceived by Cersei. If Cersei can manipulate stronger people, who was Sansa? And while on the platform delivering his talk on Ned Stark's acceptance for betraying his king, Sansa thought that was enough to save her father, ofcourse it was all lie. So please, Sansa was naive and just stupid. She has grown to understand the politics going on. Littlefinger will be thinking he is winning Sansa over, but i bet you, Sansa has a personal plan of her own. Did you see the look on her when she asked Brienne to leave? Don't underestimate Sansa guys. She will be the one who ends up check-mating Littlefinger and eventually destroying him. Let her keep playing the fool for him, because she and Arya already have a plan for him (But we will only find out after LF is finished by both sisters) |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by codedguy1(m): 8:58am On Aug 18, 2017 |
TheKingIsHere:So you think it was only the letter sansa was deceived to write that made them kill Ned. That's just lame. Joffrey was a mad man who gave an order to kill Ned, the letter was meant to humiliate Ned and put him on the disadvantage as someone who had committed treason which someone like cersei would have been satisfied with. |

IamLEGEND1:abi oo I no blame them,na because say dem no dey her shoes Most of them would have done worse or prolly committed suicide.. Shey be na release of Ned stark dem use convince sansa, e sure me say na tom tom or baba blue dem go use lure most of these people wey dey shout for here ![]() |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Cybertext(m): 9:04am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Dalek:I'm not disputing your points. ... based on the map Dragonstone is far from east watch.... but since they didn't tell us from the beginning that this is the size of the map and this is the distance per miles (in the show not books), then its left for our imaginations. I can only criticise if from season one a raven travelled from the wall to Kingslanding for 48 hours and now its less than a minute. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by IamLEGEND1: 9:04am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Dalek:Anyone who says Gendry ran back in an hour was probably not paying attention to the passing of time. Actually, I think the time jumps will return to normalcy now that everything has been set up. This season had the unenviable task of bringing characters together from far and wide..... A suspension of disbelief was necessary for the story to come together in 7 episodes. So maybe with (almost) everyone of the main players now on the same page.... We'll get a more realistic representation of time and distance. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by IamLEGEND1: 9:10am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Nicolars:At least Sansa did everything she could to save her father's life.... Going as far as to convince him to swallow his pride and confess to treason he didn't commit. Jofferey was just a sick_motherfucka..... Nothing anyone could do about that. Arya na just to run save herself she know. Baba blue too expensive for some of them. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Nicolars(m): 9:14am On Aug 18, 2017 |
IamLEGEND1:lol Sansa asked her where she was when the Bolton's took winter fell, she said she was training ![]() Training seriously? Shey na that training one save Robb Ned catelyn or winter fell.. . Some people won't still hear no matter what we say. When they see sansa, all they see is shit |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Dalek(m): 9:16am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Cybertext:dat they didn't tell don't matter, so far it's the same map as from the book (case point: the opening sequence) the distance has to be same. they only expect us to suspend our believes as the time jumps to easily get the characters to where dey need to be. |
| Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by Magnifico2000: 9:19am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Eberex:You are oly saying this because u have read or watch so many spoilers. Sansa even after knowing the beast joffrey was still was in love wih him even after beheading her father. |

IamLEGEND1:why is said next episode will be worse is, Danny going to kings landing, the unsullied and the dothraki too. if dey all move to kings landing first den dey also have to March to the wall. I also expect Jon in Kings Landing, he still needs to meet Bran imo |

Nicolars:Lol.. let me burst ur bubble. There was a time in season 1 sansa said she hated her father. She told her old nanny that. Just because of joeffrey.. sansa has done despicable and silly things. |
