Please I need answers to settle an argument I'm having with a friend.
What is the reason behind the suspicious relationship between Arya and Sansa? Since when Arya came back, we all know there has been this tension between both of them.

Arya never liked Sansa from day one..Sansa was prettier and seemingly had more affection from people than Arya ..It escalated when Sansa was to marry King Jeofrey and Sansa couldn't support Arya when Lymeria(Arya's wolf) bit Jeofrey in Season 1,It happened in season 1,Arya obviously hasn't forgotten.

Stop making complicated excuses for an actress who cannot cry on cue and can't be bothered to fake it. How can a woman who can no longer give birth lose one of her three children and not be distraught and inconsolable and angry? She is the mother of dragons. Those 3 dragons are her life.

If the actress had cried out, wept and lashed out in anger, and shown her grief as one would expect, would you have criticized her for weeping due to the reasons you gave above? Would it have been better or worse than how she chose to react in this episode?

The suicide squad was able to catch up to the undead army within a day. And Gendry was able to run back to the wall within same day......but....but......The army has been marching on(towards) the wall for God knows how long now....i'm not understanding. Plothole number 3

GRRM said Westeros is as big as South America, the time jumps just don't make sense.

I think Jon and team spent over a day surrounded by the Wights.

Jon and the crew were walking slowly and talking when traveling and Gendry set off for eastwatch in double time....... for him to arrive eastwatch after running 10hrs is sound.
A raven can be in dragonstone from eastwatch in half a day and realistically dragons of the sizes we see in GoT can travel at least 300-350miles/hr, maybe faster.
So, theoretically dany can make two or three round trips to Eastwatch in a day from dragonstone.
I don't see a total breakdown of logic like some people seem to think.

@bolded it's a fantasy tale you don't expect everything to fall in line with reality. .. we don't know how fast a raven flies or the top speed of a dragon. .. we also don't know the miles (distance) between eastwatch and that mountain where gendry ran from ( to me it might be less than 5miles to you it could be way more).

We don't know the distance from Dragonstone to eastwatch in the show... all we know is what we see and imagine for ourselves.


The book is quite different from the show even though there are a lot of similarities.

well said, i only had issue with the guys saying dey trekked for one hr from eastwatch b4 gendry ran back. its just too close. if the army of the dead is just an hr from the wall, then all chips are down.

When we met them, they were so far into the north that even the wall was out of sight. Pesin fit cover that kyn distance in an hour? Wally west go struggle to achieve that goal.

Ain't nobody got time for that.... a ship needs at the very least a Skeleton crew to be sailed properly and the numbers Jon had was barely up to a Skeleton crew so I don't think they could afford to split up. And that dragonglass Jon had in that crate will barely be enough to arm even a 1000 soldiers.
And there are ravens in dragonstone which can be used..... So I don't think having to go to Winterfell was necessary.

the only unnecessary criticism i see here are the Sansa kinds.
we know it's fantasy, the show runners made it known that time jumps will be frequent now (started with varys last season finale).

we don't need to know the distance, the wall is far to kings landing, dragonstone is farther. check the map.

I'm not disputing your points. ... based on the map Dragonstone is far from east watch.... but since they didn't tell us from the beginning that this is the size of the map and this is the distance per miles (in the show not books), then its left for our imaginations.



I can only criticise if from season one a raven travelled from the wall to Kingslanding for 48 hours and now its less than a minute.

Give her a break. Sansa was an immature girl back then. Secondly, remember when Jeofrey visited Winterfell first time with his family? did you see how he and Sansa exchanged glances? Arya took note of this reaction from her sister indicating Sansa was falling in love with Jeofrey (ofcourse she doesn't know he was a beast then).

That played a part in her wanting to please him at all cause just to be queen. But with regards to her father's execution, she was deceived by Cersei. If Cersei can manipulate stronger people, who was Sansa?

And while on the platform delivering his talk on Ned Stark's acceptance for betraying his king, Sansa thought that was enough to save her father, ofcourse it was all lie.

So please, Sansa was naive and just stupid. She has grown to understand the politics going on. Littlefinger will be thinking he is winning Sansa over, but i bet you, Sansa has a personal plan of her own. Did you see the look on her when she asked Brienne to leave?

Don't underestimate Sansa guys. She will be the one who ends up check-mating Littlefinger and eventually destroying him. Let her keep playing the fool for him, because she and Arya already have a plan for him (But we will only find out after LF is finished by both sisters)

Anyone who says Gendry ran back in an hour was probably not paying attention to the passing of time.
Actually, I think the time jumps will return to normalcy now that everything has been set up.
This season had the unenviable task of bringing characters together from far and wide..... A suspension of disbelief was necessary for the story to come together in 7 episodes. So maybe with (almost) everyone of the main players now on the same page.... We'll get a more realistic representation of time and distance.
