My only major challenge is that the battery depletes faster than normal, aside that everything about Xiaomi Note 4X is really cool.

Thinking of updating from 8.2.10.0 to 8.5.4.0 tonight though.

Which apps in particular did you optimise and what optimisation option did you choose

The optimization was from the battery settings.

I clicked on the battery use and further clicked on battery optimization, and optimized all the apps that could be draining battery.

In short, I optimized all the apps.

Though I believe what you did was go to the 'manage app battery usage' and chose a convenient power saving mode to your taste..

Guys please this thing has started again, I have followed the below steps as described by a loving fellow (I think it was Jboixxx) here some time ago but it has refused to clear. Please I need your assistance.. Thanks anyone.

This was the step I used but it has refused to clear:

Settings > Additional Settings > Language and Inputs > Test-to-speech output > Google Text-to-speech output (click on the gear icon) > instal voice data > select the language you wish to disable > disable the download button.

House: please, if you see any post that attempts to solve a genuine and impt query, just share it for reference sake. You might need it later.
