I see nothing wrong with the public holiday. It shows love, joy and commitment to the return of the President. My Governor should not been seen as clueless by the opposition as leadership is difficult.You won't understand this till you are in his shoes.

I see no problem with this. What would be worrisome is if this absurdity did not happen. It is expected that Nigerians in Nigeria will always think with their asses and not their brains.

The governor is the real definition of cluelessness. So dissapointing Kogi state is so unlucky with the political leaders piloting her affairs. From Yahaya Bello to Dino Melaye.

The state needs deliverance!

Let him declare 31 days public holiday in a month, it makes no difference. After all Abuja is not far.
We pretend that things are turning better even when we know surely that we are still very far from starting.

The Nigerian Public should have a rethink next time a young man wants your votes for political space in this dispensation. His action demonstrates that youths in this country are not ripe for political responsibility but utter irascibility of the highest order and misplaced priority. Why would a governor of a state in this economic quagmire declare a public holiday over just the arrival of a sick president? In any case we heard about the holidays how much was voted by the governor for the fanfare that followed? God help Nigeria.Amen.

The PDP in the statement said rather than devote energy to pray for Mr President, citizens should pray for God to heal Kogi state, noting that the state has lost focus, and is losing the decency of comity of serious States in the country.
