Wow. Thanks for this. Like how long should this breeze blowing period be? Or should we just wait till he gets the PR, then he can apply for me?

Thanks

I havent read thru to see if anyone pointed this out to u, but b4 i get carried away, I think that since your fiance is d PA, u dont need to bother yourself about the years/duration of your job experience as you woulnt even be required to submit a reference....since evrything goes into your personal hx.

I also think your fiance shld submit his application and then marry you after that and include you immediately..... you shld have your ECA,IELTS, updated POF ready....also ready other things needed.

Thank you cochtrane for your detailed response.

I will appreciate more response to my questions please to enable me make informed decision.

"Good morning guys,

Thanks to all the people making valuable contributions on this thread and past threads. God bless you all.

I am new and would like to know how to commence my application. In respect to academic conversion, I have ND(Auchi poly), ICAN-ATS, BSC (Uniben), ICAN-ACA & CISA, I would like to know what credentials I need to send for conversion. Secondly, I don't know what institution to use - WES or IQAS. I have read some thing about these bodies but I've not been able to agree on the best.

A prompt assistance will be highly appreciated.

Thank you."

I'll advice you NEVER to use IQAS. They are overwhelmed right now so work at a snail speed.
Unless you don't mind having your ECA in three months.
They got my transcript on the 31st of last month yet no acknowledgement.

Please go for wes they are accustomed to the pressure.

Hello House,
I must say that you all are doing a great job here. I do not think that there is a better consultancy service out there on Express Entry than this forum.
Please I want you all to look into my case.
I am married and was initially planning to be the principal applicant. However, I have checked my CRS score factoring the highest possible IELTS score, additional points from my wife and even the 15 points I can get from my sibling in Canada but my point did not exceed 421 due to my age.
Now, I have checked using my wife as principal applicant because she is less than 29 years of age and she is getting about 446 in CRS score. However, my concerns about her being the main applicant are these:
1. She has a 3 years work experience but it is from teaching. I have checked and there is a NOC A 4031and 4032 for both primary and secondary school teachers but she does not have an education degree , just B.Sc and I don’t know how the VO will view teachers without education qualifications. I have also not come across anyone who is using teaching experience to apply. Is this something to worry about?
2. The school is small private school with no website, professional email( They use gmail). I don’t know how this will affect the application.
3. Her payment is not through the bank but she has a payslip and her salary is small. I don’t know if this will be a problem.
4. For the POF, I will provide the funds. Though I do not have the funds sitting on my account but I have assets that can raise the money for us. Besides, I can also get some gift deed from my dad to support if need be. If I transfer the money to her account, will I be required to show how I got the funds?
5. I have a blood brother in Canada that can give me 15 points. However, I do not know if she can also get the point from my brother as my wife if she is the main applicant. If she can get the point, her CRS will shoot to about 460
6. Can we create different profiles and use each others as spouse so that I can target PNPs since my score is low while she targets the main one. Is this legal? For example, if at the end we both get ITA, we will go with my profile because my work experience is better since I work with a multinational.
Please in this case, should my wife be the principal applicant? Do we stand a chance with her or should I just go with my own profile? Please make una help me ooo

Can you update with these:

1.WES charged me 322CAD. It includes international courier.
2. Q-Life charges children below 5 years 20k but children from 5 years to I think 10 years are charged 22k.
3. Abuja Clinic charges, N48k per adult.
4. IOM Abuja charges N40,200 for adults.

Noted. Thanks for your input smiley

cheesy

I was initially confused on whether to choose "Part 2" or "Part 3" for the thread.

What made me settle for "Part 2" was because the initial thread was majorly pre-Express Entry, so I figured that may be the reason zandora did not name it "Part 2" especially since EE was launched in January 2015.

@all

Please let me know if "Part 3" would be the preferred title so that I can adjust accordingly.

Did you mail them? They have it stated on their website;

I tracked items I sent to IQAS by courier, but I did not receive confirmation. What do I do?
Once your courier confirms delivery, please allow three weeks to receive confirmation. If you do not hear from us within three weeks, please contact us at 780-427-2655 or one of our additional contact methods.

The balance at the end of every month for 6 months were summed and divided by 6.

I attached the statement just as support document in the space provided for letter of explanation.

Hello, its best for the person who can attain the most points be the Principal Applicant (PA)
1. Having 3years work experience is fine as long as she can prove it. Her NOC does not need to match her field of study so she is fine on that aspect.

2.As long as its a registered establishment in Nigeria and has a valid address you dont need to worry. The VOs will do what they can to verify that its an existing establishment. You should also do a google search on the school and see what comes up.

3.What she earns is not a problem as long as she is in a paid employment. The fact she has her payslips is a plus for her because CIC requires you that you provide your work reference and payslips if you can get them. So she is fine with that.

4. You will not be required to show where the funds you are providing is coming from. The PA is the one that is required to show POF and explain any unusual large deposit into his/her account. All that will be required from you is a Letter of Explanation (LOE) duly signed by you stating that your are making the funds available to your wife for the purpose of immigrating to canada.

5. Your brother gives her the 15 points irrespective of the fact that you are not the PA.

6. Its best to just stick to one profile not that there is anything wrong with both of you having your individual profile. But once any or both of you gets ITA you'll have to decide who's profile to proceed with. Its best to go through the FSW route if you can instead of the PNP because processing time is faster with FSW and you can settle anywhere you desire upon landing canada as opposed to the PNP route where you will be required to land in the province that nominated you.

In my opinion i think your wife should be the PA as long as she can get her documents together especially her work ref in the format stipulated by CIC. Infact you find that smaller corporations are sometimes more flexible when it comes to giving work ref and payslip oh! These multinationals can have wahala sometimes undecided

All the best bro.

Your current employer is OK. No need for the others.

You are required to provide your history in the past 10years and your work experience maxes out at 6yrs for FSW. I think its best you just stick with just your current job since that is all that will reflect in your application.

Be careful what you wish for...I remember praying for London VO earlier in this process when they were processing PPR like under 6weeks. So I got a response to my enquiry just now, saying my file has been moved from Sydney to London, my heart sank cause right now I hear Accra dey learn for where London dey.

They even said in their response "...please do not send repeat status requests...your cooperation will be appreciated." ... i take it as a subtle threat, so right now make i just dey my lane going forward.

Yup I do. But I don't think it has anything to do with that. I know someone who has never been to the UK and the person's file sits helplessly, tucked away in oblivion in London VO.

@perks. I'm not sure the London VO in question is U. K. There's a place called London in Ontario, Canada + Sydney in Nova scotia, Canada and not Australia. There are about 3/4 cities like that in Canada with similar names to other places.

It's London UK. In my opinion 90% of the applications processed there have some connection with the UK.
For Sydney, there's CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia (where some applications spend quality time gathering dust, including mine) and of course the Sydney VO, Australia.

She does not need to write evaluating exam in order to get PR or get into the EE pool, all you need is ECA from PEBC Register first on pharmacy gateway $325cad and document evaluation fee $600,. Get on it because PEBC is getting really overwhelmed.
