The problem with thinking humans are special is it generates arrogance and self-rightiousness. Eventually it destroys humanity because everyone strives for the favor off god instead of helping to better humanity.

My creator needs no praise or obedience to its will. I don’t have to be obedient to achieve eternal life. All I have to do is try my best to understand creation and work to make it flourish and grow. Eventually my Soul (flesh) will die to feed the cycle of Life and my Spirit (abstract energy) will join the (energy of the universe).
