Antonio Conte has moved to play down recent reports that he is unhappy at Chelsea by revealing details of his personal life in London, while he also insisted that his working relationship with the board is amicable.

There have been some reports that Conte and the club's transfer chiefs have had a rift over the players that have been brought into the side this summer

However, Conte has remained in charge with mixed fortunes, losing at home to Burnley before beating Tottenham at Wembley last weekend.

The Blues boss offered a rare insight into his personal life as his insisted he is happier than ever as he adjusts to life in England.

Conte faced fresh doubts over his future this week over as reports emerged from Germany that former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel was being lined up to replace the 47-year-old.

Chelsea quickly moved to deny it and Goal understands that no contact has been made between the Blues and anyone associated with Tuchel. Conte has also moved his family to London this season but admitted that he doesn't know where his wife Elisabetta has put his Premier League medal.


He went on to hammer home the importance of Chelsea's win last weekend against Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

City are my favorites. This season reminds me of 2007/08 and I think it would go that way. United will be like Arsenal FC of that year. Chelsea will remain the same Chelsea and City will be like United.

Arsenal started well that year wobbled through draws and ended up finishing 3rd with 83points. Chelsea and United were inconsistent initially but picked steam towards the end of the season and finished 2nd and 1st (85 and 87 points respectively).

So I expect United to drop points in the bigger games, pick a few unwanted draws later on and finish 3rd despite their good start. Conte would still find ways to galvanize his previous champs into grind-out wins but would only just fall short. City would have close wins mixed with starts and stops at the start but by next year, click into gear and win with more intimidating scorelines thereby winning the EPL.

I am forced to say Wembley and Coutinho's sale (without any credible immediate replacement) will push Tottenham and Liverpool to 5th and 6th. Arsene will find a way to convince Le Goons that another 4th place finish is some degree of success. Everton would do no better than a high-point 7th placed finish.
