Where do you need the phone exactly? It can be waybilled there. He said Tuesday / Wednesday at first. I don't want to take any chances, reason for picking Wednesday. Because he is not around.

It depends if your twrp version permits Ota. You'll probably lose root privileges or in extreme case, soft-brick your phone.

Check miui forum for your version

You should be thankful to rom instead. One crazy update can reset your mood. I hope miui will not repeat the mistakes of miui 8

I'm on the beta team, update is everyday. I flash at will, so, if they misbehave, I'll start all over again without losing a single file

yea..After downloading . Go-to TWRP and install it... I use TWRP too

I don't have to wait for a call or text, any time I see unsuccessful delivery attempt I go the next day to collect my item.
