Anyone Tried "Let's Encrypt" Free Https Certificate Service? by Nobody: 4:45pm On Aug 27, 2017
Come October 1, any website that fails to implement https for sensitive information form page will be flagged as unsafe by Google Chrome. Has any one tried the free https certificate service and what's your experience?

I've used it for 3 of my sites, and it's been fantastic. Note, however, that each certificate is valid for 90 days, so you'll have to renew after every 90 days.

Isn't there any way of automatically enabling the update, instead of going about it manually?

None for now. But you can set the plugin to generate a new certificate automatically and then notify you when the current one is about to expire. However, you will still have to manually enter the codes for the new certificate.

I don't know why..
I just didn't see readon yet why i should use https... The thing's gonna get some side effects.. As for Chrome flagging site without https, that might be true but yet still untrue

You know how many sites not using https? grin grin

Hi, good morning. I woke up to 2 mails from Yahoo, asking me to ignore the message if indeed, I requested my account to be shutdown. And if I didn't, I should click on a link to deactivate the request.
I didn't send a mail, asking I have my account shut down. I have seen from the link, I have to log into my account. This got me thinking it's a hack(?)
I don't want my account erased. What do you think?

you might be linking the second css file incorrectly or an invalid path.

Why not copy the source code of the second css file into the first?
Re: Anyone Tried "Let's Encrypt" Free Https Certificate Service? by Nobody: 7:30am On Aug 28, 2017
You mean Google Chrome is going to flag "ALL Sites" not using https as from October 1?

That's quite impossible. I once tried to install the HTTPS thing on my site but then dump the idea.. This thing is sure going t have an effect on a site that had already been existing for a long time on the web if installed

It will encrypt your website but you will not get a green https, not in chrome or any other browser. (My experience with few free let's encrypt)
