Thought you were the PA. If not, then I know answer to my question but if true, are spouses required to still choose a NOC even if their work experience is captured under Personal History? Please help clarify.

Wait I, I don't have hard copy of my WES ECA o since last year

A lot of people have used their online report. You can clarify in your LOE if it'll make you sleep better at night.
Have a great week!

I haven't received my hard copy too and I submitted the soft. It warrants no LOE as ECA is not a mandatory requirement for upload. We only upload it to make work easy for the VO. Softcopy without LOE is fine

I recently did an upgrade of my WES Credential Evaluation and Authentication report to ECA for CIC. My request was processed same day and I got the e-report. Payment was CAD$75.71. So all you need is Login to your WES account and request duplicate report for Immigration (IRCC)

Ok, thanks.
So you had your course-by-course assessment converted to that bespoke for CIC/Immigration purpose. Mine will be a request to convert ECA for CIC to course-by-course. I hope and pray it will be as easy as yours...

Thanks again, cheers....

I am post ITA and facing the same problem. The thing is your ECA was not done for immigration, so on WES page, you just order a duplicate for IRCC purpose and the reference number will change to the one mentioned here (same number but will end in IMM). I already did that and waiting for my report today or tomorrow. If you are pre ITA better to do this now cos I learnt the new date of issue will change to the date of your new IRCC duplicate. As for me I will just have to write an LOE to correct the error as it will not lower my score
Good morning, do i need to include my waec for ECA cause it was stated that i should include secondary and higher education study for analysis. Also please did you pay $322.05 and how do i pay?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by yimiton(f): 10:55am On Aug 28, 2017
I got mine in April and just below date at the right side, there's an ECA number that ends with IMM.

If you don't get a response from them, send them a private message on Twitter and also, use their online contact form to contact them. They hardly respond to regular emails.

Raconteur14:
Good evening all,

I have been following posts concerning WES evaluation closely and I have been quite fearful. Clearly stated that my purpose for ECA is immigration and I have a saved copy of my order page. However, my reference code does not contain the IMM everyone has been saying it should have.

I sent a mail to WES Friday evening and await their clarification but is there really any serious implication if the ECA doesn't start with IMM? Has anyone gotten their ECA from WES in recent times? Mine was gotten July 11th.

Seniors in the house please help.

I think its best for you to call them and get first hand information.

i was told that all that is required from you is your current passport. There is no where in your application you are required to prove your travel history. You are only required to state it. For those that have gotten adr for travel history, they were only asked to fill a form but people decide to go a step further to add stamps and markings of their old passport. One cant say for sure why adr for travel history is sent, sometimes even people that upload stamps and markings of old passports have received adr for travel history.
I know atleast 3 people who did not include stamps and markings of their old passport and were not penalized for it (not that im saying you will be penalized for including it) 2 of them have ppr and one has landed canada. Infact there are people who's stamps and markings are not readable at all, what then do they do? undecided

Moral of the story;

1. Make your application as simple and as straight forward as possible
2. Stick to only the documents that you are required to submit
3. Add LOE and SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS only if its absolutely necessary. For instance, if you cant get some of your documents in CIC format or there are discrepancies in some of your documents and so on.
4. Dont prove what you are not asked to prove. It will only prolong the time spent on your application by the VO because im sure the VOs are under the obligation to assess and verify every single document provided by an applicant irrespective of the fact that they are unnecessary. If you ask me, i'll say my sister abeg dont give your VO too much workload, make it easy for him/her grin
5. Well in the end its your application oh!!! Do what pleases you with it. LOL!!! wink
6. Call, tweet or email IRCC and often as you can to clarify grey areas before you submit, there is nothing better than first hand information. They have an obligation to answer your questions when you call, they wont hang up or insult you even if you ask an annoying question (na the work wey them dey do)

But this is not entirely correct.

People have been rejected for not including documents not specifically asked for .e.g ECA. CIC did not ask of scanned proof of ECA yet people have lost money/time by not including it. Also people have shortened their process times by including documents before they are requested for. E.g. the Form/Schedule A.

In other words, let everybody read and then upload what they think they understand. Arrange it properly, use an LOE if necessary and pray because asides from a few standard practices, this process isn't a one size fits all.

People have done the same thing and ended up with different results. Just saying.

My 2 cents on IELTS, ECA n PP
Imagine these 2 scenerios:
Mr A uploads all the doc, IELTS, ECA stamped copies of old and new passports

Mr B uploads all but no IElTS, ECA and no old passport.

Assume u are the VO, u pick both files, u obviously will prefer to work on Mr A file first becos
1, he seem really transparent and open.
2 he has made your work easier, you may not need to contact other embassies and British council.

On the other, u will send Mr Bs file to confirmation unit, they have to confirm and provide evidence of ielts, travel history and eca and it eventually comes out positive.

Results: MR A and B both got PPR, Mr A most likely within 1 month or two. MR B "we have the same AOR, what's delaying my file" it comes out after 5months.

I don't think it will cost us any thing to provide very important doc like IELTS, ECA and stamped old passport.

Exactly! We should not say don't attached old passport pages because one time a lazy VO didn't scroll through a pdf document.

Hello @40manlappy I have been having issues deciding on which NOC to use. I currently work as an operational risk analyst (business continuity management) in a bank. I have previously worked in other units: Funds transfer, Credit Risk Analysis and Risk Reporting.

I can't seem to find any appropriate code to use. Can you help me please? There is no specific code for Risk Management functions.
Thank you.

Interestingly, I checked my family travel histories and my husband's and son's (who has always travelled with me oh) are there but mine is not there.

To worsen the matter, my Most Recent Travel shows only 1 entry without exit.Still showing that I have till Dec. 23rd 2017 to return. I hope this website without accurate information does not delay my PPR. Hopefully, this is not all CIC relies on for verification.

Guys please I have a question. I just saw a comment and I think that I need to clarify.

I am the principal applicant and my husband is the accompanying spouse. For POF, we used my husband's account statement. Did we need to attach anything more to this?

I saw up where someone said they attached a notarised letter saying that the funds will be available to the principal applicant. Is this necessary?

N.B. I really wish that I knew about this thread before I submitted my eAPR

Please note that the key thing is for the job description (JD) written on the reference letter from your employer to be a close match of the JD listed under your chosen NOC.

Using the "Search" tool of this forum, I Googled "risk management NOC" and saw the posts of Issy.debo, JesusD.way and ITA.BABE that you may find relevant. Please check the following links and provide feedback.
