plz can u xplain d difference btw consultation service and document checking service on skills assessment for migration
http://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration/skills-assessment-support/document-checking-service
The Document Checking Service provides guidance to applicants and agents in meeting the documentation requirements for formal Skills Assessment applications. Ensuring your documentation is in order when you first lodge a formal Skills Assessment means the application has a better chance at being assessed in a shorter timeframe.

We check whether you have provided a sufficient number and type of documentation in order for us to be able to effectively complete a formal skills assessment. The Document Checking Service provides step-by-step guidance over the phone followed by a written summary report
The cost for the Document Checking Service is AUD $110 including GST.
However Advisory / consultation service is to assist applicants in selecting the right occupation ( Cost AUD$220)

I need assistance here. I am a chemical engineering graduate (ANZ 233914: Engineering technologist) but my 7 years experience is in QA in call centre in Telecoms. I already have my qualification assessed by EA (positive). However, I intend to claim points for experience in my application. Please, any ideas or help will be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation

Good day nairalanders,
Please kindly help me out on this confusing matter. I have being reading and making personal findings but I can't still get solution. I'm a microbiologist with HND and worked for 4 years. I'm working as Quality Assurance Officer now with 3years experience and still counting. Here is my challenge, I can't get any of the two professionals on any of the visas programs. The closest I got was Quality Assurance Manager and I don't know if I can't put in for that. Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for your response.

I'm still curious. Please check your assessment result very well.

The following employment after *month Year* is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level and relevant to 26**** of the ANZSCO Code.

Also see the ACS summary of criteria. While your case may be different , It is better to be 100 % sure before claiming points to avoid overclaiming. And if you are 100% sure please enlighting us so other can benefit from it.

Cheers

I have re-checked the result and I found out that they dropped 3 years out of 6 year I presented despite that I studied computer engineering and I have been working with an IT firm for 6 years doing core IT work ranging from different IT implementations. These are the core competence of a systm Analys I applied for. So am still wondering the sharp drop in the points.

Now we see points dropping to 65 for non pro rata and some pro rata . The DOE is quite far but there is much hope now.

However the waiting time for 65 pointers on pro rata that dopped to 65 is likely to get longer as there is a lot of 65pter backlog, as seen with royal who got invited after 8.5months or it could appear shorter if u had 65 as at Jan-Feb-mar 2016 grin .

DOE for 2631 and 2613 is likey not accurate, no January backlog for 65pters. Awaiting DIBP correction though

For 2631, 2335, 2613....i will urge all to boost to 70pts if possible as this means minimum waiting time (I.e Next ITA).. don't let the backlogs snatch all the slots pro rata style....

Good day Fam
