Explain to your HOD first, he might stop them from using their local dialect to communicate in the office, as for the Religion aspect u can't do anything about it, learn how to accommodate other Religions. |

Are you Yoruba? Only Yorubas feel that way... and I wonder the rationale behind it. If people are communicating in their language... please let them be and focus on your job! I remember my former place of work. We were 5 of us. 3 Yorubas and 2 Igbos. The 3 of them would be comfortable speaking Yoruba... but immediately I and the other guy starts Igbo... they feel threatened. The reason for such is what I can't still reason out! |

A Davash222:Thanks for being blunt. Part of my challenges was that I was worried. I realise it's not helping me as I go to work depressed daily. I think with friends like you, I should be out of the wood soon. I see myself coming back to nairaland with gratitude. But put yourself in my shoes and tell me what you would do. I am here for counsel. |

BiafranBushBoy:Imagine when you and your team mates are giving a task. How would you contribute when you do not understand what is going on around you? Moreso, how would you feel when your team mates are overly associating with one another? Let's face it, tribalism is a tool for marginalisation and segregation. They did it to me. |

Davash222:I'm really tempted to try it. If I can overcome worry, I would have solved 90 percent of this challenge. But Origin isn't my tin. But thanks bro. Truly grateful. |

risingrainboll:Hey buddy...!! When it comes to team work you work with the team and do your part! Unless you are the type that loves office politics. Did you come to the office to make friends? Do your Job my friend and leave the office! If you wana make friends... then you visit the right place to make friends. |
