Kai, Y you dey talk like dis nah.....I dey laugh but seriously e no funny ohhh.

Why do we have this perception that you must be married to have a child? in this situation, the father's role here is just biological nothing more. There will be NO legal implication because she is and was never married to the man; thus she can file for her son without the father's approval

Finally, what happened to constructive criticism and emotional intelligence?? jeezzzzz.

cochtrane:

Then she has to get along by force with the vial or straw, lol grin

Seriously though, I doubt CIC will allow her file PR for the child without the father's approval/consent, married or not married. It could have serious legal implications in the future for them and they'll want to avoid that.

Except of course she declares the child adopted and not from a relationship. In which case, she has to tender adoption papers. And if one-half of the child belongs to a sperm bank, a quality one I hope, she has to tender papers from them which the sperm donor has signed to relinquish all rights to any child brought forth by the power of his liquid explosion (read in Borat's voice!) grin

A final Hitlerian solution is to simply choose "Never Married" and not mention the child. Bam! Then she goes to Canada and abandons the child to the harsh and despicable Nigerian weather. Problem solved.

Hi MrsBee, i have not noticed any update in my Additional documents section yet but it seems, they have actually started moving july files from CIO. In the July Forum on Canadavisa, a guy whose AOR is July 1st, (cannot really say when he was in NA2 but he passed medicals on the 20th and unless his IP1 was long, he would probably be in NA2 by 21st July) said he noticed "No additional documents needed" in August 25 to be precise.

I have been checking people's timelines and doing some calculations as well. It seems files that are processed in Sydney moves to Ottawa or LVO when NA2 is about 40 - 50 days, came to know this because some people's GCMS pointed out that their file moved to LVO at the same time that their Documents section changed to "No additional documents required". So it is possible that DBA4show actually had his file moved to Ottawa since he is also a July 6 AOR and he had been earlier informed that his file was being processed at Sydney.

I also noticed that if you were a long time on IP1, your NA2 is much shorter.

This process is so funny, really teaches patience.

God is in control.

Hmm....the Ziggy Zaggy of IRCC...or is it CIC?

i find this @bolded distasteful. Canadafly's comments might be a bit too harsh but most times what she's saying is the truth . Please this is a public forum and all form of dishonesty should not be encouraged. At best, take it off this forum and do whichever "wuruwuru" practise you want to do. Please "DO NOT STATE IT HERE". This thread might be closely monitored by 'who-knows-who' and even if a poster thinks there's no way CIC might find out he/she posted such illegal intent, what about CIC generally making it hard for Nigerians esp. outlanders by tightening the noose. We no go know say na we use our hand do ourselves
Posts about DOB, working experience and a few others, which is what it is really ( because it's either you're 1988 or 1989, you can't choose and "unchoose" birth date, really!)
In the previous forum created by Zandora, it started so good and was devoid of all these impurities but towards the later part, an ugly trend of posters started asking for ways to paint white 'black' and sorts. Now it has continued in the forum, and even increasing. It doesn't paint a good picture for newbies to be as honest as possible.

If you feel whatever urge to manipulate, kindly pm whoever to help out with the plan, Please don't state it here. Cheers e-fam!

That is also distasteful, this why corruption will never stop in Nigeria.

Lets not kid ourselves here, we will pay the price of what we encouraged whether in public or in private.

Good Day All and kudos to all the wonderful assistant here.

3. My date on my employment appointment letter is a year higher than the year I graduated from school. i.e: My employment letter is reading 2010 and my year of grad is 2011, Can I still apply with EE, if yes Will I start counting my year of working experience from the date on my employment letter or the date on my graduation certificate?

I am really expecting your assistance on these clarifications.

Thank you

This does not look like an issue to me but then, I'm not your VO ooo.

Anyone can get a job before leaving school. You're going to have to work with your employment letter as it was given to you. CIC might just count from the point where you graduated and officially qualified to practice.

Hello everyone,
The wealth of information here is priceless and I heartily commend all the contributors who keep this thread going.

Last year, my husband (BSc n MSc in Financial Analysis with over 10 years work experience) got sponsored by his office for a month long course in Canada and he was issued a 5 year multiple entry visa.
My family and I have been wondering how to achieve a PR for the family using his visa as a starting point.

Your candid advice is much appreciated.
Thanks

His multiple entry Canadian visa has no special contribution to the express entry process.
The priceless wealth of information on this thread (which you mentioned) will point you in the right direction. Head to page 0, all you need is there.

Just seeing your post now. I think you might just have to wait for another 7-8 months. While waiting, get into the pool. Who knows, draw cut-off might get as low as 400. As at this time last year, it was as if only people with above 450 will be able to get ITA. Now the story has changed.

joyfulsombori:
okay, will explore this option, although only one of them has a registered company.

i would have loved to wait at my current employment to accumulate this outstanding 8 months afresh, but i could have PPR by then,if i go in now

I was in the same situation. All I did was to edit my profile to reflect what was written in my reference letter.
