The Yorubas have a rare chance of becoming the race of people to reform Islam and this can only happen if they shed away any authoritarian link with Sokoto.

In the end, are you answerable for Yakasai or me? In Islam, you answer for yourself, not as anybody's surrogate or proxy. So, whoever uses whatever to deceive, cheat, divide, take advantage of, subjugate, etc. is answerable for it.

Trust Yoruba Muslims to deny this. Truth is they know, but they're comfortable being slaves. They love their chains. You could see that their presence wasn't felt in the Ibadan SW summit. They have been using this technique since then against the Yoruba People. Even Tanko Yakassai tried to use it recently but obviously Yoruba are now wiser.
